A family run delicious hole in the wall with many offerings on their menu.I stopped in with a friend for lunch about a month ago ago & experienced a pop in my mouth of deliciousness! My taste buds were enjoying GG's street Birria tacos. Mmmm;-) 2 tacos filled with beef Barbacoa, fried & laying on their side, served with broth for dipping!My friend got enchilada casserole dish. It comes w a fried egg on top, but, he chose not to have the egg.He enjoyed his meal.We're definitely going back for more treats;-)I'm going to post pics. It's at 10th & Minnesota in KCK downtown. Don't let any roadblocks fool you into thinking they're closed... Although, you may want to call first to be sure they're open.They close at different hours for assorted family appointments, etc! Hole in the wall type of place. There is seating inside the restaurant, but it's pretty busy and all the tables were basically taken when I was there. I got a quesabirria platter, which came with the quesabirria tacos and the consomme. Food was ready for takeout in about 20ish minutes, so not too bad overall given how busy they were.For the food itself, I'd say 4/5 - quesabirria was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. I wish the tacos were a bit more crisp, so that it could balance out with the consomme. Flavor wise, pretty decent, but again, wish there was more depth of flavor to the consomme and tacos. Really appreciated the accompaniments though, the fresh jalapeno, salsa, limes and onions really brought everything together. I think for the price I paid, definitely makes it more worth it. It's cheaper than other quesabirria options in Kansas City, so points there.Overall, I'd definitely return.

I love the food...(period)If there is one downside it is that the building is a small building, when it's warmer out I'm sure it's fine since there seems to be outdoor seating.Bottom line, the attitude and service of the gentleman taking the orders and bringing them out is over the top and the food is spot on.

Stopped by GGs for some tacos and it was delicious. This is a small taco spot in KCK part of the taco trail. The staff were kind and quick. The tacos were delicious. The tacos came with four in an order so all three of us brought home left overs. The soup was a generous portion as well. I would definitely come back for more.

We were on the hunt for the best birria tacos in town, and this hidden gem popped up in our search! It's a small, family-run spot, but don't let the size fool you--the food is incredible. We ordered the chilaquiles with steak, quesabirria tacos, and Horchata, and every bite was bursting with flavor. Trust me, I've had my fair share of birria tacos, and these were some of the best! If you're looking for a cozy, homey spot with delicious food, I highly recommend this place. The service was top-notch, too--we were greeted warmly, and given plenty of time to explore the menu without feeling rushed. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

This weekend my boyfriend and I were wanting some Birria tacos. We found GG's Barbacoa Cafe on Yelp. I'm so glad we decided to stop in. The service was great. We were promptly helped and was offered assistance. We got a plate of 4 Birria tacos. We also got the Horchata and both were so delicious. We would definitely come back.

On a road trip and the breakfast at our very nice hotel looked lackluster... this place was a great find! Aunties in the back making our order, the medium egg was textbook medium! Everything was homemade and delicious. 10/10

Great lil spot! We got the Quesa Birria tacos with a side of beans and rice. The customer service was awesome, down home kind of joint. Food was delicious!!! Fresh, meat was nice and tender, cilantro and onions, half a grilled jalapeño and lime. We bobbed our heads to the music. It was a great experience!!Oh and homemade hot sauce!!We left happy and FULL!!!We will definitely go back, go try it!!
