Came by, primarily due to traveling for work - needed a solid gym with variety of equipment. Did not disappoint whatsoever, and exceeded my expectations. Great staff, super friendly plenty of room and wasn't packed as I'm used to. Great overall experience.

The tennis program would get a 5 but the gym equipment needs some tlc. The equipment has tears and missing pieces. I like all the cardio equipment and are in good working order.

I've belonged to 24 Hour Fitness for years and was very happy with staff and facilities. Then when Genesis took over, it's been downhill. The location in Olathe off Pflumm is downright gross. It's dirty and machines are consistently broken not to mention not enough equipment for the traffic. I will never step foot in that location again. The 110th and Metcalf location is like working out in a sauna in the summer and is NEVER clean. Mirrors have handprints all over, the astroturf is nasty, and I've seen a pair of headphones lying in the same corner for weeks. I see one person cleaning randomly in the early afternoon and that's it. Oh, and when it rains, there are mats and buckets sitting out to collect dripping water in workout areas. If I wasn't a lifelong member and grandfathered in, I would NEVER join here. Until I find another gym with a reasonable monthly price, I'm stuck but NOT happy.

Been using my uncles pass. Was told it was fine at another Genesis as long as he pays. Was let in to try this "premium Genesis" out for a day. Upon about working out the staff got heated at me for this. Already in the process of working out they wouldn't even let me finish after going to Genesis gyms for years. Ego driven staff who clearly don't care. "Go to the one down the street they'll let you in". Crazy I don't write reviews but this was terrible. Yes, this was partially on me, but still. Don't come here. Oh yeah, make sure Dan gets fired. Doesn't know how to level with people and clearly had it out for me. Maybe he was having a bad day

Equipment issues continue especially in the cycle room. Many of the bikes remain open and the manager (who is in over his head) continues to make excuses and promises that are not kept. He has allowed the inconsistency in scheduling which has caused many active members to fall off. Now there are down to two classes and the schedule for those classes has unnecessarily changed. The room is rarely cleaned, and bikes are becoming more and more scarce.In the winter you have to constantly tell him that there is ice in MANY parts of the parking lot that remain there for days. My wife has fallen as well as others. This place is poorly run ever since this new management gas arrived

Staff is very rude. Trainers are laughable at best. I simply don't understand how you could raise prices on memberships when weights floors aren't kept clean. Amenities are constantly out of order. Then to have a lady not smiling ever at the front is ridiculous. Cancelling my membership for lifetime.

lady at the front desk "Jennifer" was so rude yesterday when we came in. she snapped at me and said my membership didn't cover her location. I told her I really think it did and she said word for word "I don't care whatever". so I called today and talked to her on the phone to figure everything out. I simply asked her name to make sure I was talking to the same person. then she went off yelling at me and telling me she should add extra fees on my account! I asked for the manager and she said "nope" and hung up on me. lucky for me I called corporate and all of their phone calls are recorded! Jennifer should not work with any other people ever and maybe attend some anger management classes. I will no longer go to this gym.

No wonder this place has such terrible reviews. The staff is so unbearably rude. I was grandfathered in as we have been members for over 25 years. Now i'm being told I need to pay more for a specific location even though we've been using it? I specifically was told from support that I was able to use this location and would not have to pay more. Then when i came to tell them that JENNIFER the operations manager continued to be rude and told me word for word "i don't care". Then when I tried to tell them again, I was granted access, she got her manager (Dan) and he said no as well. Whatever. So i ask why I would have to pay more, and they say it's because it's so much better than mine that I started at, which is not true. After I talked with them for a few minutes, I asked for their names so I could ask support again. Not one did Jennifer, not give me hers, she laughed at me. I came back inside to get her name, and with a passive aggressive voice said "have such a wonderful day" and said something to the other two coworkers at the desk and they all looked at me and laughed. Avoid Jennifer at all costs. If you don't know who she is, she's a blonde karen looking lady. Can't miss it. What an embarrassing front staff for your business. Do better.Also, update! I was wearing my uniform when this all happened. They proceeded to create a fake review about me on my work places website. Pretty sure that's slander.

The gym itself is great. But the service is terrible. They tried to lock us in a deal and only offered us a 3 days pass but would not give it to us until we committed to membership. They also pressured us to make the decision right then after me expressing I did not want to do that. They then agreed to let us workout first but had to hold our ID's which was fine. But it was slimy business and ridiculously overpriced. Their pushy sales pitch and not accepting no was enough for me to never go back and make sure everyone I know is aware of how they do business.
