It's a dive bar . . . .with a great patio and some of the friendliest people around. What's not to like? And the last time I went there, it was freezing out so I ordered a glass of red wine, not expecting much but for $7.50 I got what was a pretty good class of Cabernet! This place is TINY! If the beer garden is closed, you will be standing beer to beer with people but that's just part of it's fun. And in the winter, I'm pretty sure they don't heat it as I wore my winter coat the entire time I'm in there. But get a beautiful day, a beer in your hand and some music playing and this is liable to be your favorite spot.Parking is odd as I seemingly was out in a field behind another bar but everyone else was parked there too so it must be okay. But somehow . . . .all those things rolled together are just a part of it's charm. Hope to bump into you soon at the Gaslight Gardens!

Award for the best use of a postage stamp sized building and outdoor stage goes to Gaslight. Literally a bar that's crowded if there are 10 people inside. Decent beers, friendly enough staff and service, but what usually draws me here is the live music venue just out the door and facing Johnny's... subject to the noisy traffic, but still an intimate space, great for live music. Gaslight gets my thumbs up for just being there.

I fell into this tiny slice of heaven, on a Monday afternoon. The service next door was questionable. So I adventured out, and into this tiny place, that should never be underestimated. The owner/proprietor prepared me a Moscow Mule...unlike any I have had in 23 states. This cozy little, I mean little, tavern, servers an freaking amazing Mule! Home made ginger syrup that is hands down the best I have ever had to drink. The beer selection covers Bell's brewery, from Michigan to Uinta, from Utah. And many more. If you don't stop here. Your lost.

Although I work here, and am totally biased, I absolutely love this place. I would recommend that anyone come here if they want to hang out with lovely people, enjoy well made drinks in a warm, beautiful environment with wonderful staff and ownership.

Love this tiny place. Cozy, multi-level beer garden, a few solids on tap, mellow crowd, roar of trains rushing by every now and then. Post-beer river walks are right outside the door-go on a full moon!

Good patio, good shows. Well worth the short trip over the river. Yelp is telling me to make this review longer, so I'll just say that it's the best bar next door to Johnny's ever.

Unlike many hipster bars who think that having a beer on tap that only five people have ever drunk, somebody at GG who knows beer actually curates the stuff available. It's next to impossible to find a place like this. It's so much better than the trendoid dumps pimping for reviews that say "chill vibe."

So my friends band had scheduled to play a show here about a month ago. They rehearsed for a 3 hour set. At the last minute, gaslight pushed back the show and then cancelled because they thought a televised sports event was more important than the time of local artists. If you support local artists in any capacity, I would strongly advise that you take your money elsewhere.
