Amazing facility, but arbitrary rules ruined the fun. Couldn't use a slide because my shorts had a built-in rivet to drain w water from the pocket. really...last time we came wouldn't let my wife use the slide with wedding ring on.

Holy Crap pools have changed since I was a kid. My mother in law, sister in law and I ventured out with my 15 month old son to the Gardner Aquatic Center and we had a blast! They have a wonderful zero entry area for the little kiddos, a lazy river, balance bridge and two large water slides. What was really nice is that the actual pool, meaning over 3 feet deep, was located to the side and seperate so the older kids weren't having to maneuver and fight for space. The zero entry area has a great playground type monstrosity in the middle that my son found to be super entertaining. The lazy river was great, they do require you to be in a tube, and you cannot get out of the tube either, but it was still nice. They easily had 20 or so lifeguards on duty, everywhere you looked there was one. There was some puke/nastiness or something on the playground thing, that sat there for a VERY long time and I don't think anyone actually cleaned it up, so that was kind of gross but that was the only draw back I could find. The cost was great, $6 for an adult and my son was free.

The pools are fine but they hire the WORST staff here. The problem is the staff here are for some reason always in a bad mood and get mad at everyone for no reason at all and don't even get me started on the prices here the prices here are horrible. I will go to Black Bob bay from now on and I recommend you do the same

My family will NEVER go to this pool again. We drove 37 miles and paid 24 dollars to get in. We were then not allowed on the slides because my fiance had "metal rivets" on his shorts and I have a metal ring on the front of my suit. My step daughter was also told she couldn't because of a nose ring. She hasn't had it long enough to remove it. We then went to the lazy river and were told we could not use double rafts to lie on alone, had to have two people per raft. When we asked about a refund they said the person who does refunds isn't there today. They also said they had received complaints about this before but it is up to city hall. They advised they had a tool to remove the rivets, which was a pair of pliers. So, ruin your suit and you can swim. In my case the ring held the front of my suit together. Apparently, they would prefer me to have nothing holding my suit together? This place was an absolute joke. We have been to Summit Waves, Schlitterbaun, Ocean's of Fun, Super Splash, Aventure Oasis, you name it...never been an issue.
