Friendship Restaurant

So I posted about this restaurant before, it's nearby me and in my neighborhood so it's a great go to place and it is a value my favorite thing to get there are the dumplings I've tried several dishes there but I generally fall to the fried rice it's simple and it's good I've never eaten inside but I know you can but you can call in your order and go through the drive-thru and pick it up they're the nicest people.

Stopped by late in the evening for some takeout. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and an order of crab rangoon. Because I ordered my food to go, I didn't get a good look at it until I got home. I was surprised to find there was no egg in my shrimp fried rice. I was bummed out by this, and I ended up adding my own egg to the dish. What's fried rice without the egg? Now that I'm done complaining, I'll focus on the fact that the food was very good, and there was plenty for leftovers. The service was speedy, and the inside of the restaurant looked pretty clean.

Is this restaurant perfect? No. Maybe not even good. But! It's certainly the best Chinese takeout this side of KC. It's not consistent, but when it is good, it's fantastic. This restaurant has been there for me through my ups and downs at 10pm. The food is alright but I really can't complain. It's Chinese takeout. The sesame chicken is really good. The people that work here are very nice people and work very hard. I love that they have a drive through. I'm posting a review because I don't know what I would do if anything ever happened to this place.

Decent Chinese food, doesn't seem to be that clean and the inside has never been open when I go there so I just order online. Definitely think there's better places though

Good Chinese take out! My husband and I are so happy there's a take out place in our neighborhood. It's online ordering AND drive thru. We pretty much crave the same thing every time but what's classic to us is sweet and sour chicken with the sauce on the side! We also usually get pork fried rice which feeds us for a few days.

Good food, fast service. No complaints, it's worth trying for sure. Try the chicken wings.

I found my go-to Chinese food restaurant in Kansas City!Having grown up outside of NYC, quality Chinese takeout restaurants were on every corner. My experience in KC had not treated me as well. Thankfully I found Friendship Chinese Restaurant to satisfy my cravings.I like my Americanized Chinese takeout inexpensive, understated, and with overwhelming portions. Friendship definitely checks all of those boxes.I ordered a combination meal, General Tso chicken with lo mein and my wife had the Kung Pao chicken with fried rice. Both meals came with an egg roll and we tried an order of their crab rangoon.I really enjoyed my chicken, lo mein, and egg roll. The chicken was saucy, but still crispy and the lo mein was cooked perfectly. The egg roll is as close to home as I have found. We had enough of my combo left over to share for lunch the next day. My wife didn't love her Kung Pao, but did like the fried rice. The crab rangoon was really creamy and didn't skimp on the filling, but was a little too big overall.I will definitely be back and look forward to sampling the menu.

I got the sesame chicken with lo mein. Since I got the combo it came with an egg roll. I would get this again.

Orange beef twice a week...never disappointed. General Tsos shrimp I would not recommend (got it once, the shrimp was off)

The food was average at best. The egg rolls were insanely tiny. The friend rice was not good. No flavor at all. Basically just brown rice and not fried. We ordered a combination and there were literally 2 shrimp.
