Friendly Bean Coffee

Got a chai. It was hot and served pretty quick. The service was very friendly. There was something a little missing in the flavor. I'd get something else next time. Warning--there is a gigantic pothole in the drive through. I was worried about bottoming out.

I really like Friendly Bean. They are indeed friendly and quite possibly the friendliest baristas I have ever encountered. The guy at the window today was no exception, just very lovely. 5 stars for the baristas! The coffee is pretty good. I'm typically a cold brew drinker and theirs is a little too bitter for my taste. I still order it when I'm in the area because it's worlds better than Starbuck's and I love to support local. But hey, if you like blended coffee drinks, or flavored coffee Friendly Bean does those very well. My daughter is a frappe kinda girl and this is her favorite place to get one. That said, I once heard a comic say that the angrier the barista, the better the coffee. Maybe there's something to that. The best coffee I have ever had in KC was out south and the guy was so judgy and rude. I never went back. Guess I prefer pretty good coffee and a smile.

We love this local owned and small business coffee shop. I love that they offer a drive-through so if you're in a rush or are you just don't feel like getting out of your car you have that option available to youThey have a variety of specialty drinks and they change their menu based on the time of the year. I really love her iced coffee and cold brew.

I'm not from the NKC area, I happened to be in town and was so happy I found this spot! The cute little spot had the sweetest employees and they were able to get my early morning off to a perfect start.

Amazing honey lavender latte. Lines are a little long - but worth the wait. I always say I'm gonna try something else - but always resort back to the honey lavender latte.

The BEST drinks, pricing and customer service. I enjoy visiting friendly bean before work. The service is so quick and you rarely have a long wait (even when the line is outrageous)Highly recommend and will continue visiting them for years to come. Also, the punch card is awesome!

I absolutely stinking love their coffee! The s'mores machiotto is to die for! They also do monthly special drinks that have never disappointed. They used to serve breakfast foods too, like bakery items and omg... the best in town but they stopped for sole reason. However, the coffee is the best so don't walk... run and try it!

Wow! Wowzie! Wower!!! So glad I stopped at Friendly Bean. I am so impressed with the roast on their beans. Their coffee is what coffee should ALWAYS taste like!!! Along with incredible beans they have a vast selection of concoctions and they even fancy getting you exactly what you desire. I had a lavender, honey iced latte and they PERFECTLY flavored it, not over powering it with syrup and honey. Found my new, favorite gourmet coffee shop North of the River. And to boot the staff is extremely nice!

Friendly Bean is everything good about small business, coffee, and service. I love the punch cards (buy 10, get one). The White Christmas Latte was the best! I really hope they bring it back next December. The fancy schmancy bakery items are gone now. I still miss the cream cheese croissant, but I console myself with muffins. The happy harvest muffin is like carrot cake. Yum! My husband hated coffee until he tried a Friendly Bean iced caramel macchiato. He's now a regular. I think it's implied, but I will say it, Friendly Bean is the best place for coffee in the entire Metro.

My favorite coffee shop in the northland! Reasonable prices, delicious coffee, and always great service!
