Fortune Palace

We loved this place! We had been biking all day on the Katy Trail, and were looking for a place to grab some dinner on the way home.Much to our dismay, we had forgotten our bike locks, and didn't feel comfortable leaving them on the rack in the parking lot while we went inside to eat.We discovered that everything on the buffet was available to go, purchased by the pound. So we each filled a container, paid for a bottle of water, and ate some of our food in the parking lot before starting to drive back to Kansas City.Between the two of us, we tried several items and all were delicious! I had the General's chicken, an egg roll, crab Rangoon, and a couple of other things. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful.Highly recommend. Almost to the point of making the hour plus drive just to eat there.

Not bad for a rural town buffet in terms of selection, taste and freshness, but the hygienic conditions of the restaurant could use some real tlc soon.

Excellent food, has everything you'd expect or want at a Chinese food buffet. The service was top notch, they brought me a refill right as I finished my my drink. Price was reasonable.

Since the new owners the place has changed and so has the food I think the quality of freshness is lacking and the taste is bland for Chinese food. I think the name should have changed when new owners took over

I went there today, and was amazed how large their Buffet was. The food was excellent and the place was packed. I ate a lot more than I usually do because the food was good and hot. The wait staff they were all over this place if they were not replacing food they were with customers.

Trash food. Sorry. Minimum selection of food. Food wasn't kept well heated. The environment was very cold. Waiter was friendly and attentive, but that's the only good thing. Won't come back.

I thought I'd try fortune Palace one more.When I was driving past, I saw the parking lot was full so I thought perhaps the food will be hot this time .Not on your knife the food was stone cold I will not be coming in this place anymore three or four times bitten two or five times shy never again so I don't know how they're getting in all these good reviews, but not for me. Bring back the old management or the old owners that was good. Are you still not coming in in this place no more

We've eaten here many times in the past and was very pleased. After it changed owners we noticed a definite change in the quality of food. Last Saturday we ordered carry out for three of us, my order was chicken cashew and egg rolls. Taking three bites of the chicken cashew, was unable to swallow any of them due to the chicken was mostly chicken skin or small pieces of chicken attached to fat or skin. I didn't attempt to eat more of the disgusting meal. The egg rolls were okay, nothing special. I won't be going back due to the disgusting chicken cashew.

I like their food but they needa change the hours or let people know they close an hour early!

Used to be a great place to go and eat dinner with family, now they're charging 10 year olds and up as adults for dinner we'll not be going back!! Amazing how any other time kids are a different price, and now with new ownership I guess ONE price fits ALL. Just horrible!!! 12.85 for 2 kids.
