Force Of Nature Brewing

This brewery looks a LOT smaller from the outside, but you walk in and it has a great amount of seating and bar space (surprisingly big). The owner has found every dish and glass thrifting so it's a cool surprise what you will get. They have a vast food menu (including kids items) but they ran out of several things, so I'd suggest having a backup option when you order. The beer was delicious. I got the hazy ipa and the Rueben sandwich. Not the best Rueben I've ever had, but not terrible. It tasted like it was made from regular beef. However, everyone else's food was good so I look forward to coming back and trying another option. The beer was fantastic. The event calendar is packed full of fun things to do so I look forward to coming back and checking out more!

We drove out to the brewery last night and cannot wait to return. They have an incredible spot with amazing decor. Most if not everything has been thrifted to give it a very at-home feel. The tables are all what you would find in a home growing up. A lot of thought went into every aspect of this place. The menu is big for a local brewery and has some traditional items such as nachos and pub chips but then some fun items as well. We tried the pub chips, nachos, and tofu nachos. The toppings were a little sparse but they were packed and I am sure they are still learning how much to put on things to make a profit and not run out. That being said, the food was amazing. We enjoyed all three dishes. Our daughter had a big bowl of mac and cheese, chips, and her drink for only $6.99, you cannot find a deal that good anywhere else. They have games, lots of seating options, and great wi-fi. They had four of their beers on tap and 8 other breweries. We did a flight of four and then ordered our favorites. I won't go in to beer tasting notes because everyone is so different but I will say do not let the herbal twist on their own brews scare you away. Our favorite beer of the night was their Cold IPA, it had a hint of thyme and was outstanding, I hope they keep it. The place was packed from the moment we walked in (shortly after 5) until we left two hours later. The owners were there chatting with tables and every person we encountered that worked there was kind and very helpful. This place is worth the drive!

The atmosphere welcomes you in to sit and stay awhile-which is great considering there is such a unique menu and wide variety of drinks! Well worth the drive to west JOCO!

What a fun place! I LOVE places that have a personal stamp on them. You can tell they've put a lot of love into this place: fun, handpicked decor, local art on the walls, vintage cups, etc. Nice menu with creative offerings plus old favorites. Fast kitchen even though they were busy with a classic car event on the street in front of the restaurant. We will be back for sure!

The service was the best! Friendly and welcoming staff! The beers were good! Definitely a plus for DeSoto! Wish I lived closer!
