Fluffy Fresh Donuts

Been going to FF for years. Despite the same name, it is NOT just like the one on State Line. This one is better.Pro tip: Call the night before and pre-order your donuts. It doesn't matter the size of your order.

The best doughnut in the whole entire city hands down. This place opens like at 5 AM and I see donuts sell out by 7 AM. The only downside to this restaurant/donut shop is that they only make enough for the day and they accept cash only. The ambience is mid due to most of the nostalgic decor being dirty and needs a good steam cleaning.

The best donuts I've EVER had. And I consider myself something of a donut connoisseur *chefs kiss*. Every time I've had Fluffy Fresh, the donuts are exactly that - extremely fluffy and incredibly fresh.

Drove 20 minutes. Pull up and they were closed on a Tuesday Morning at 0700. (12/12/23) I had checked their FB page and the web prior to going and everything said they were open. Poor business practice. Luckily Lamar's was open up the street.

Good donuts. Mom and pop store that only accepts cash. We had enough to choose from but it looked like they were making more.

Excellent doughnuts, best service...nice and friendly folks that just want to make your day. I can only say try them and you will be back for seconds. You will not be disappointed! Run don't walk as they sell out fast. Word has gotten around. YUM, YUM!

Get there early and bring cash. Their glazed donut and their cinnamon twist are the best donuts in the entire city. And that's enough to make this the best donut shop. If you are looking for ambiance, crazy varieties, or an endless supply throughout the day, you will be disappointed. They don't take cards. They sell out early. The coffee is a bit of an afterthought. But these donuts are just so good. They've been open for 40 years. The couple who runs this place do everything. They start at midnight and by 9 am when they run out of donuts they go home. This place is just as it's always been and will never change. And that part is so charming. We love Fluffy Fresh, and I will sing their praises forever.

This place is incredible! I believe it is a husband wife that work there. They are always super nice. Always go above and beyond. When I ask for them a jelly filled donuts for my wife they never have a problem getting them ready for me. The glaze donuts are incredible. O and on top of that you will not find a better price for donuts than at fluffy fresh. Make sure to bring cash though. They do not accept credit cards.

Think of this place like it's the soup nazi on Seinfeld. Walk in the door step to the left place your order and make sure you have cash. If you want service don't come here, if you want the best damn donuts in KC this is the place. Don't listen to the one star reviews they are all wrong and can't handle beauty, art or truth. If they say they are open on their Facebook page but they are closed change your plans and check tomorrow, or the next day or the next because you want these donuts. Don't call because they won't answer because you are not important, the art of the donut is the only thing that matters. Hand made with care in the back by someone who needs to take my money. If they raised the prices I would still eat here. Thanks Fluffy, I'll be there in the morning cash in hand.
