Flo's Poke-A-Dot Lounge

I'd been so excited to stop in here and check it out. Every time we drove down Wornall, that name just spoke to me and I decided I needed to see what was actually inside Flo's. As it turned out, it is just a neighborhood bar. It's not large, but it does have a pool table in the back and it was really clean. Lots of regulars and people just enjoying conversations or time by themselves. The drink of choice while we were there seemed to be beer and I would have to say that they did not have a great selection of bourbon; however, they seemed to have what their customers wanted, so all was good.

Been wanting to try this for a while. First time here owner, bartender, and customers very friendly. I strongly recommend a spot.

An odd little dive bar in a run down strip mall, across the street from that 7-11 that gets robbed all the time. It's the kind of place where 25-year-olds mingle with 65-year-olds and where nude velvet paintings hang on the wall near a jukebox with eclectic selections. On my first visit shrimp was passed out along with the beer. A fun little dive.

This is a great dice bar. Free pool table, cheap drinks, darts. You'll meet interesting characters here. This place is so divey, they use an off brand cola instead of cold or Pepsi.

Dive bar? Hole in the wall?Yes yes it is. And its awesome.Iys one of those scratched floor and wall. Sraped up bar. Dinged chairs. But its actualy super clean. The bathroom is always stocked with everythibg needed. Witch is more then I can say for most bars. And everything is in working order. The pool table dosnt even habe a burn or stain on it. At least not as of my last visit.Music comes from a juke box and a lot of the trendy pop/rap is blocked. Lol.Tue nights and Fridays are the best. Thats when "lennie" is the bartender. Thats right. Just one bartender for the whole place.

Fantastic neighborhood bar. The drinks are stiff and service is prompt. Been for a few happy hours and have encountered two bartenders. Both are great. Partial to one of them, but will never tell. Owner greets everyone that walks in the door. Tons of regulars, but new folks are greeted warmly. Regulars routinely buy rounds of drinks for the bar. Keno is available and every once in a while you get some complimentary bar snacks. Just make sure you show up for the barkeeps bday party each year. You'll never hear the end of it.

Funny, I drop on maybe once a year when I"m in town. I grew up here and see the faces of friends there I still hold deep in ny heart. I never have dropped on and didnt see at least 2 or 3 old friends. Teminds me of Cheers, just a litle more FUN!! Hope to drop on on Saturday 1/2/2016.Happy New year!! It is a nice, laidback and inexpensive bar. We enjoy it!
