Flipzone

I can only speak to our experience at a birthday party as I haven't used any other services. The location was hard to find and is at the back of the building/parking lot but that isn't necessarily their fault. However, my daughters outfit was disgusting after the party. She was so dirty it was like they've never cleaned their mats and floors. Especially with it being a competitive, shoeless floor you'd think they'd have more pride in the appearance and cleanliness. There was duct tape holding a ton of stuff together and that creates a general safety hazard because it can bust or grip where someone isn't expecting it to. Just not that great of a place. Maybe the price was worth it?

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Showed up for my friends twin birthday party booked from 12-1:30. The facilility was closed when we showed up. The owner double booked the party (there is only supposed to be one party at a time) and quit answering his phone when both parties were calling to see what was going on. We waited outside for AN HOUR before an employee showed up. 1 HOUR LATE! By this time, there was even a third party that showed up. We lost valuable time paid for, pizzas were cold and were not provide any sort of refund!?! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BUSINESS!! These guys will go out of business soon.Oh, and there is one employee jumping on a trampoline by herself and eating gummy snacks while 30 children run around and play on gymnastics equipment. How does any of this make sense?

This is a great gym. My 5 year old daughter has attended class there for almost two years, and she loves it. It's wonderful watching her learn and advance. The coaches are great with the kids, and she loves them all. We attend Saturday morning classes, and sometimes it can be kind of crowded, because they also have a cheer team that practices during that time. But there's more than enough room to accommodate everyone, and I've heard evening classes aren't as busy. We choose Saturday to give her something to do on the weekends. We also had her 5th birthday party here, at her own request, and it was the best and easiest party we've had for her. Mr. Chad hosted, and he took care of everything. All we had to do was stand back and watch the kids have fun. They got to play on the trampolines, and there was an inflatable bounce house/obstacle course that all the kids loved. Mr. Chad kept everything in order, and directed present opening in a timely and non-chaotic fashion (more than we've been able to do at her past birthdays). He even took care of keeping the list of all the presents and who they were from. Several parents told me on the way out how much fun their kids had, and what a great idea it was to have her birthday here. We'd definitely do it again.

We had the most amazing time at our birthday party! As a mom of 4, having siblings be free was amazing as a mom. The fact that the parties include 20 kids is another amazing perk! Any other party place only has packages for 10 and for children thats just crazy as most schools have at least 20-30 kids per class. The party package also includes a cake and thats another stress free item for the parents! I just love the all inclusive package!! My children love the amazing facility and the amazing friendly staff!! Ages 3-13 all had the greatest time as well as the adults!! Great JOB and We will be back and telling all our friends!

my daughter did tumble for 5-6 year olds for a season, she did have fun, but I wouldn't say she learned anything. the gym was always mass chaos. the teacher/student ratio was my biggest complaint. coach z was great, but he was just given too may kids, now that he is leaving, so are we. we tried open gym, and that was horrid. the cheer team took over, no inflatables were used, trampolines were not allowed, and it was mass chaos, and a teenager was running the desk. the owners also runs insurance company, and I was called on for his side business, that left a bad taste in my mouth.8 months in, and we will not be back.

We tried out many different gyms before we found Flip Zone. They were the best gym by far. Most importantly, my daughter LOVED it. She kept saying "mini-stars, I love mini-stars!" (that's the parent toddler class). Other than that, I really liked the instructor, he had a great deal of experience (had been teaching for probably over 20 years), was genuine, playful, energetic, and very informative. The owners are also wonderful people and very personable. I got to talk with Chad, one of the owners, at length and I love how their philosophy is to have experienced instructors for ALL ages and skill levels (unlike other gyms where they give the lower level gymnasts the inexperienced college-aged instructors). I can't say enough good things about this gym!

My daughter has been taking lessons with Chad for almost 3 years and she has grown so much in her tumbling skills, her confidence, and more importantly her love for tumbling. We have been so happy with Flipzone and highly recommend it!

Wow!!! I tried out gyms all over Lees Summit & Independence for my 3 kids (3,3 & 4). Some were dirty, rude, over-priced, etc, & I had almost given up when someone told me about Miss Kim & Mr Chad at The Flip Zone. We went to the free trial class they offer and we knew instantly that we had found the gym for our family!! The rates are very reasonable, the place is really clean and my kids (& the grownups) LOVE the instructors!!!! My kids have learned so much!! We were fortunate enough to even take swimming lessons from Flip Zone over the summer. My kids went from being petrified (no exaggeration) of the water to swimming like fish-both above & below the water-in just THREE weeks!!! I'm telling you-these folks ROCK!!

My 6 year old daughter has been going to FlipZone for the past 4 years, and she still loves it. She has been taking recreational classes and has learned great gymnastics skills. The owner has been her coach, and he is wonderful with the kids. I appreciate that they have adults working with the kids, and they help every kid at their own ability level. Since she has been there for a while he pushes her skill level, while others who may be new to gymnastics may be working on more basic skills. We tried a couple years ago to switch to somewhere closer to us, and it didn't even come close in comparison. We love FlipZone. We also had her 5th birthday party there and it was awesome. Chad helped everything run so smoothly...I got to just enjoy the day with my daughter and her friends...he got the cake, drinks, served the kids, ran the presents, and I got to take pictures and enjoy. It was wonderful!!

The best birthday I've ever done for my kids! We are doing it again for my youngest! They love running around in there, it's all a kid ever wanted! And the parents were all so happy that they could just sit back and relax while their children ran out all their energy. We had a blast and I would recommend this place to everyone.
