Fleetwood is considered the top gun for everything mower related in this city. I've probably purchased my last 3-4 here over the years. Sure, there are a few other places you can take one for repair or maintenance, but when it's serious and requires expertise you hear the same refrain, "take it to Fleetwood."Yes, they can be brutally slow in getting around to reconditioning mowers, but imagine the entire city dumping them off late year once the lawns no longer need mowing. Going from few to hundreds of them at once. I get it. Still, I find they will work with you in certain situations and try to meet your needs. For that reason I think they're a solid 4 star kind of place. In a town loaded with places to buy a mower, when the kid that was mowing my lawn drove it into a 4 inch metal pipe a few days ago and badly bent the crankshaft, I took it in and they were willing to do a quick look, confirmed (and showed me what was wrong) and out the door I went with a replacement. Cha-ching. So much for his cheap rate :(.This place, highly recommended. Yea, not always warm and fuzzy customer service, but they get the job done and they do it right. I'll be back.

They were super helpful in helping me get my wood splitter fixed. They came and picked it up, fixed it and it looks like brand new again.

It has an aversion to grass it sneezes a lot and refuses to run when it's near it. I'm not a doctor. Will Enick.

They will cheat you and sabotage you if you don't agree to their demands. My family dealt with Fleetwood and I was with them when they gave rude customer service. They break your lawn mower and tell you that you can't come back to them

Once again, Fleetwood Mower has demonstrated its great customer service. I was in the market for a specific lawn mower model. Fleetwood had it priced for $449, a competing lawn mower vender had it priced for $399 in a box. BUT Fleetwood gave me a $50 trade-in credit for my old mower, assembled the new mower, put oil & gas in it, and loaded it in my pickup. So, I got excellent service for the same price I would have paid at the big store. Support our local businesses!

Neal and his staff is as good as it gets. I took my Cub Cadet in on a Saturday telling him I needed it yesterday. He not only fixed it, he called me on a SUNDAY tellin me I could come pick it up! My next experience they had to order a part which had to be shipped in overnight. He not only took care of it again, he loaned me a mower for a job I really needed done asap. Keep goin you say? They wouldn't take a cent, not even for the gas I used! Service like that is a "thing of the past"! As a small business owner, for someone to understand how important it is to get up and runnin again is priceless! There might be other good lawn repair places, I'll never know, Fleetwood has earned my business and all referrals for life! Thanks again guys, you Rock!

I have used Fleetwood for several years for service (mower, chainsaw, line trimmer) and purchases (a mower). However, my most recent experience was my last. I brought my line trimmer in for service four weeks ago. When I called two weeks ago, I was told that it hadn't been looked at, but would in the next several days. Today I dropped in - having still received no contact - only to be told it could be looked at on Monday. Either place is so outstanding that they need to reduce the number of customers they have, or you should go elsewhere.

In regards to the repair side of the business. I really wanted this to be different as they're a local shop that's very close to the house but the wait time for typical service was ridiculous on all levels. Had a simple Briggs push mower dropped off for a tune-up in late May expecting the turn around to be about a week. It took them two months!! Every other week, they said it was next in line but that line never moved. For what we had to pay in lawn mowing service while our mower was in the shop we could have bought another new mower of the same model and that was before the tune-up charge.

I have been going to them for 18 years and have always found they go the extra mile to keep all my equipment up and running in peak condition. They are also a local business that really delivers high quality products and service.
