Flatlanders Ski & Snowboard

I cannot rate this place highly enough. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and so helpful. Bought a pair of ski boots and had them molded to my feet. Reasonably priced considering they're the only full service ski shop in the area.

Great ski shop in KC. We came by to rent some ski gear for a quick trip out to Copper Mountain. The skis and boots rented out all seemed like good quality and handled well on the trip. The team at Flatlanders was very helpful in getting the gear ready for pick up and organized for our larger group. The staff was also very friendly and excited for us to go out on the ski trip. Great shop for your ski and snowboard gear.

We decided to leave for our ski trip early this year which meant arriving in Colorado on a Sunday night when ski rental places were closed. Flatlanders was awesome about fitting all five of us last minute for our trip. They were very friendly and didn't overcharge us. They helped us with racks for our car also. We will be back!

My first experience purchasing a snowboard couldn't have gone much better honestly. Everyone there was accommodating and helpful even though it go busy and they were short staffed. Everyone there was very knowledgeable and helped me find the snowboard gear and boots that were right for me. I highly recommend them. If I had one complaint it would be that I with the shop was a little bigger so it didn't get crowded so easily but they're doing great with what they have and they have a very good collection.

Amazing experience today with Ryan. I bought a pair of boots before season and skied them 3 times and they are terribly uncomfortable and painful to wear. I lose feeling in my toes and feet within 15-20 minutes and the pain becomes unbearable. Ryan worked with my boots for an hour and finally decided they were a size to small which was causing the pain. We were able to go to the next size up and put in heal cup inserts and now they are perfect. I will never forget the customer service and conversation I had today. Thanks Flatlanders.

They carry sub-par brands and goods and make claim that they are as good as the more recognized brands. They also artificially create sales by jacking up the price of good so they can 'reduce' them for the sale. I have done significant research to be sure this information is accurate. I wanted to like this little shop but I cannot given the dishonesty in merchandising.
