First Watch

Second time going to this location. The staff is very friendly. This time we went on a weekday morning, which was still pretty crowded, but our service was good. Well, they don't have a large variety of different coffees the honey caramel crunch iced coffee was outstanding. It is a little sweet because it is honey with a vanilla cold foam on top so I would advise mixing the cold foam with the coffee before you shrink it because it balances it out. Our eggs were nicely, scrambled the waffles were nice and fluffy in the breakfast meats. Both the bacon and the sausage were cooked perfectly. The only thing that I don't like is the way the parking is situated there in that area it's kind of awkward getting in and out, but that's nothing to take away from the restaurant itself since they offer great service and good food.

This location is about a month old, so it doesn't show up in searches, or even on the First Watch website. It's on the NW corner of 115th and Nall, but you have to look up to see it because it's on a "hill." And when you turn on that corner, you have to drive a ways to get to the entrance to their parking lot. Like all First Watches, it's always very busy, but you can go to their website to get on a waitlist before you head out. It has a nice outdoor patio area that's half shade/half sun. Our server was very pleasant, but we had to ask for silverware after our food arrived, and I had to ask 3 times for syrup even though I'd ordered the fabulous Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. My companion had a frittata with potatoes, bacon, onions, sun-dried tomatoes, avocado, and an egg on top. Said it was extremely salty, the bacon was overcooked, and the avocado hard as rock.The server did fetch better avocado slices. Seemed like they're having a few newly-opened glitches. Server said they don't have the seasonal menu like all the other First Watch locations, which was disappointing. I'll probably be able to give it more stars next time I'm here, as my pancakes were delicious!

I love a good first watch breakfast! Incredible service and always consistent with their food. I love the seasonal changes...such a comfort type restaurant!

First Watch focuses on breakfast and lunch. My favorite meals are their breakfasts, and you can get breakfast all day. I love all the omlets, especially the Works Omlet. I also love their pancakes, especially the multigrain and l recommend adding blueberries. But the pancakes are huge and you'll probably only be able to eat one with anything else. Sandwiches & salads are good too!

My fiancé and I came to Kansas City for a chiefs game and I told her "WE HAVE TO EAT FIRST WATCH" This is the best brunch spot in the KC metro. The best thing about first watch is the consistency. I haven't been back to KC in years and the food here is exactly how I remember it. The food, service and atmosphere absolutely exceeded mine and my fiancés expectations. Our server Malarie was awesome! She was personable, polite and efficient. I will always recommend First Watch to any of my friends traveling to Kansas city.

Food has been good at all of the locations and I am so glad we have a new location so close by. They do a great job of creating a good environment and quick friendly service. I have several favorite dishes so I can't recommend just one.

the serivice was horrible but the food was pretty good 3 stars do better yall should fr work on gettin the food on time and the best other people in my parties checks were comin before i even got my food very bad cervice but the eggs were pretty mid and the jam that comes with the waffles is good 3 stars

The food was good, albeit a bit pricey. The service was weak. I bought a $6 drink and ordered two refills. I expected for $6, refills would be free. The server said nothing about be charged for refills. Feels like I was treated unethically. Doubtful I'll be back.

Numerous locations, I went to the new one on Nall. Breakfast- lunch place. My favorite is the Farmhouse Hash with roasted tomatoes.

Last Sunday was our first time eating at this First Watch location. The French toast was probably the best restaurant French toast that I have had. it was a nice cut of bread and soaked all the way through, so it was not dry in the middle.The seating area was clean and comfortable. The service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back.
