Way more than a decade ago I ate at the First Watch in midtown. It was meh and seemed more like a place for old people to get out of the house. However, in the last couple of months I have gone to a First Watch on the Kansas side and First Watch in Liberty and clearly things have changed for the better. First Watch Liberty is a modern, but comfortable breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. The menu has a lot of options. You can get your standard breakfast fare but they also have plenty of "chef-driven" twists to break you out of your culinary rut. I ordered the avocado toast and eggs and even though it sounds like nobody could mess that up, believe me, it can be messed up. The avocado mash here is very bright and lemony. I could actually do with a little less lemon, but it was still very good. The eggs were well executed. The coffee was drinkable. I couldn't ask for more. And yet...Trust me on this. Try the orange juice. Never in my life have I had orange juice this glorious. It tasted like they went out back and picked the oranges that morning. Nectar of the gods.

This place is amazing! There watermelon juice is great and so is there million dollar bacon is amazing. My favorite thing to get there though is there lemon ricotta pancakes. The ricotta adds a nice creaminess to the pancakes and the lemon curd adds a nice citrusy flavor to the pancakes. The waiters and waitresses are very respectful and friendly. And the restaurant has a great ambiance and when u walk u get see how beautiful looking the restaurant is. This is a great restaurant that I have to try at some point!

I met my mom and grandma for breakfast here this morning and have sort of a mixed review. Coffee was okay, little pricey for a First Watch, $3.50 for a cup of just "ok" coffee. My mom made the reservation when she picked my grandma up so when we got there, we got seated... super lucky. Staff was friendly. This is where it gets tricky...I ordered the farmhouse hash, my grandma had the eggs Benedict and so did my mom. We waited a really long time for the food and when it came to us finally we all had cold food. Mine was in a skillet and it was barely warm when I stuck my finger in the middle. We didn't say anything about it because it took long enough in the first place.I'm not saying I won't go back, but they definitely have some kinks to work out here. The menu is large and specials looked good, but it's a doozie when you never go out to breakfast and looking forward to it and it's cold. Hence my 3 star.

First watch is always so good. Always consistent. Can't go wrong with the avocado toast and chocolate hips pancakes. Even my 4 year old asks to go!

First watch is always a crowd pleaser when it comes to brunch in our family. Whether it's dine in, carry out, or delivery the food is always made fast, fresh and delicious. The spring menu is ending in the summer menu will be coming out. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits on the spring menu. It was a large portion. He also enjoyed the cereal milk adult beverage they have on the menu.

Cute brunch/lunch spot. The menu is huge. So many options. Got the chorizo omelette this time. It comes with lots of sides including toast and salad. The omelette itself was okay. It didn't have as much chorizo as I hoped. But it still tasted pretty good. I like that the options here seem healthy. The toast and salad were great. My hubby got the potato's instead and that was amazing. Wow. Definitely recommend getting the potatoes lol. Overall decent place. Would love to try their other options!!

Patio seating, absolutely beautiful morning . Bailey my server was great. My tostada's were flavorful. Just enough to fill you up. The fresh fruit was a refreshing add on to the meal. If you enjoy Mexican cuisine, you can go wrong with the tostada's. The patio plants seem to be drawing gnats the only downside. Maybe spray them?Had 4 gnats fly into my water. A covered cup would of been great, at least until the gnats are under control.

Always amazing. Always a wait, but totally worth it. The Floridian French toast is my go-to but seasonal options are always tasty as well! I wouldn't get their coffee, haven't had a good experience with it yet. Fun staff!

This location was close to my hotel so I wanted to give it a go. Very friendly and nice ambiance and they boast seasonal items on their menu. I ordered the Morning Meditation juice (freshly pressed), the Farmhouse Skillet Hash and Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Only snafu was the wait. I checked in for a 15 min wait but got forgotten so once that was cleared, it was ok!

First Watch could be so good, but they fail on potatoes every single time. How can a restaurant serve burnt potatoes that are not done inside? How can a server not see that burnt potatoes are not acceptable to serve? Even the pumpkin pancake was not up to par. It was an expensive, disappointing breakfast.
