Filling Station Coffee - Overland Park

We were just driving by and I had this coffee place in my Yelp favorites to try. We happen to go inside this place looks really nice with a very good interiors. They have a setting of helmets and bikes as you can see in the pictures the staff over here was absolutely stunning, respectful helpful we love the way they were welcoming us. We got ourselves, coffee, and a cappuccino. It was amazing..We ordered breakfast sandwiches for us and one thing I did not like was that they were reheating everything like egg and turkey Irish they had something fresh that they could have made for us but other than that this place was amazing. We would definitely try again.

I really like the vibe at Filling Station! It's nice and relaxing, with an auto shop twist. The service was great and the coffee was delicious. I had a vanilla latte and the flavor was spot on! I'm looking forward to my next cup of coffee here!

I'm actually quite upset that I have lived in KC for 6 years and just found this spot today. Love the vibe!!! They have a great pastry selection from Ibis bakery - and a great coffee menu. I chose a fall menu item - the buttered sugar cookie latte that was on the menu and chose a blueberry cake donut. The donut was to die for and I will definitely be dreaming about. The coffee - eh. Idk if I grabbed the wrong drink but was told it was mine - it just tasted like a non flavored latte but was still good. Will definitely be back sometime in the future

Coffee was good. Ibis pastries were good, missing their goat cheese bearclaw but that's not their fault. They have small amount of breakfast food, like a warm and serve. The decorations are cool and calming. Not a lot of seating. Can get pretty busy in the mornings on the weekends.

This is the second time I've visited this coffee shop and this visit was better than the first time. The iced latte I had today was flavorful and smooth. The coffee shop is unique in the decor and I love the plants. I do think the tables needed to be wiped down on this visit when the business was slow. I was surprised to find that they had a code for the bathroom that you had to ask for, there is one unisex bathroom available. They had some signs stating that the restroom and seating was for paying customers (which I understand and agree with as I've been in many coffee shops and seen people do a whole business meeting and buy nothing!) I would say the two things that needed improvement were the tables being wiped down and having a more welcoming attitude towards customers.

Wonderful coffee shop we found right near the Airbnb we're renting for the week. I had a dirty chai which was really good. My daughter enjoyed her caramel cloud cold brew.

Sheesh, I don't give 3 stars very often and I think I had good reason on my first visit, but I'm updating to 5 stars because I've only ever had great service and drinks since that first incident. Also bonus points because I think Filling Station is one of very few places with unique seasonal offerings! The Chai cider was different, but definitely delicious! Can't wait to try more!

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at this location over the weekend. I am a regular of the westport location and have always had overwhelmingly positive trips for coffee/breakfast there. However, this location did not live up to my expectations in the slightest. My latte was wrung in wrong and made wrong despite me trying to be expressly clear about my customizations at the register. Additionally, I was told they were out of the flavor I ordered and had to sub in something different. Once I received the drink made wrong i politely asked for it to be remade and made a joke about being allergic to hot drinks. The red headed barista on bar rolled her eyes and made a rude comment under her breath. Then after she remade my drink with the specifications I ordered, i overheard her talking to her coworker about the fact that she didn't have the effort to get the syrup she ran out of down off the shelf, despite having plenty back up of it. So not only was my drink made wrong once, but my 2nd drink was still incorrect given that they had the syrup flavor i had ordered in the first place. Before I left, I tried to turn the interaction with the barista who made my drink around and say thank you and was met with a blank stare. When I said thank you again she replied "yup" and turned away from me.

Filling Station is a fun little place. Their fresh-pressed juices my favorite. They serve messenger coffee which isn't my favorite, but their baristas are great and always serve me a fantastic beverage. I really enjoy getting a Gibraltar when I go.

Very rude staff which creates a terrible atmosphere. I believe the person that "helped" me was Sidney. She was very rude and very short with me. I don't see myself going back there as long as she still works there.
