We were left pretty disappointed with Feasts of Fancy and would not recommend them. After continuously assuring and telling us that the area of the venue (West Bottoms) is quiet and dead on the weekends, we showed up the night before our wedding for our rehearsal to learn (on our own, not from them) that there was an EDM festival happening right across the street the day of our wedding. They also told us guests would be able to park in the lots across the street, but the lots were sold prior to our wedding and they did not feel the need to tell us. We understand the festival was out of their control, but feel they misled us on a few fronts, which negatively impacted our day - affecting our plans and timeline, forcing us to make many changes the day of our wedding, and creating parking issues for many of our guests. To us, it feels irresponsible and naïve on their part to be so proactive in telling us there would not be any major noise issues affecting our wedding (ceremony & cocktail planned in their outdoor courtyard) without knowing or seeing if that was really the case. Most disappointing is that they stated that it's not their responsibility or problem to know or pay attention to events happening in their neighborhood which could affect their events. For this, we would not recommend them as an event venue, as we feel similar situations are likely to happen to others in the future. One of our vendors informed us the morning of the wedding that the venue told them we were moving everything indoors (we had never said or agreed to that) and we believe their desire for us to do so, also meant they did not clean the courtyard for our ceremony as they had told us they would. It was very dirty. When we reached out following the wedding, they were unresponsive for weeks and when we finally did get a response from one of the owners, Joel, it was quite rude, dismissive, and condescending. We sent a follow-up email, which they never responded to, but they were able to respond to a public review we posted. Much of that information shared their response was new to us, misleading and untrue. The fact that they say they pride themselves on excellent service, but dismissed our attempts at communication and trying to reach an understanding via email, to acknowledge us only when we posted something publicly, further adds to our disappointment and reinforces our inability to recommend them to anyone.

We reserved the Hobbs for our wedding in May of 2014. After realizing that we were overpaying, we changed our minds and went with a different venue. The person we worked with, John, stated that because of their contract they would not budge on the deposit of $2500 nor would they be willing to work with us as a caterer. They were very "kind" to waive the additional $3000 deposit so at least it wasn't a total loss, I guess. Thanks for not stealing almost $6000 of our wedding budget, so very kind and understanding of you!Vicki is very nice but I can't recommend this as a place to have an event let alone a wedding. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere and not near worth what they charge for the space, food and service. Their catering cost is a complete ripoff too and the menu they "put together" for us is the same for all their weddings apparently. Your money will go much farther somewhere else. Good businesses don't rip people off like this place does, and if you do decide to have your wedding or event here be forewarned.

Our daughter was married at FoF May 2022. Camille was amazing in every way. She helped make the planning process be easy and I can't believe everything that they include with the venue costs. They were professional, timely, so accommodating and wonderful. I can't rave enough about the staff, as well. They served everyone during the wedding with attention to detail in every way. And, of course, the food was delicious! We loved the combination of the outside lighted courtyard with the inside main room for dining. I highly recommend FoF for your wedding or other event!

I would not recommend Feasts of Fancy (FOF) for a wedding venue as the experience we had at our daughter's wedding was disappointing. Although the food and staff service provided met our expectations FOF's not knowing of an EDM (electronic dance music) festival being held directly across the street on the wedding day was unconscionable. Finding out about the festival on our own the evening before created the need to make changes to the ceremony and last minute stress for many but most importantly the bride and groom. Our intent to hold an outdoor cocktail hour following the outdoor ceremony was not feasible due to the disruption of the music festival. We were told parking would be available directly across the street which was not true. Most disappointing was FOF took no responsibility for not knowing about the festival and the disruption it caused. Had we known this type of disruption was even a remote possibility when choosing the wedding venue we would not have considered Feasts of Fancy.

At first when booking with Feasts of Fancy, my fiancé and I had a pleasant experience. However things quickly changed when the pandemic hit and it led to the company sending a lawyer after us, completely cutting us off, and keeping our deposits. My fiancé and I were set to be married on April 4th this year but unfortunately due to COVID 19 we had to postpone the events to this fall. Coming up on our big day the venue sent out an email explaining new protocol which we completely understood given the situation across the world. Some of the new rules however limited dancing to 2 people and requiring guests to remain at their tables. Having hired a band, and having certain goals for our wedding, we felt this was not what we originally agreed to. Again, we of course understood at this point that the wedding couldn't safely happen because of government shutdowns and didn't blame Feats of Fancy for the situation but they went on to make the postponement a disaster. At this point in time we had made 2 payments to the venue, totaling thousands of dollars, and my fiancé was furloughed from work. Feeling the pressure we reached out to our contact to request that we get our deposits back, and then rebook with the venue down the road. They met our requests with slow responses, firm denials, and eventually a letter from their lawyer explaining we forfeited our deposit. Needless to say we were beyond shocked and saddened by this. We wanted our new life together to be one of happy memories and a positive outcome with Feasts of Fancy. To this day they have ignored our letters and requests for a refund. I write this not to guilt Feasts of Fancy, we have all been affected by this pandemic, but rather as a word of caution for anyone thinking of using them as a venue. They went beyond the pale to ignore us and scare us away by sending their attorney after us. Stay away from them if you value your events!

My husband and I got married at Feasts of Fancy in January and the entire process was a dream. We wanted to have a reasonably short engagement (5 months) and they made everything so easy that we never felt rushed at all. Our coordinator, Vicki, was very helpful and responsive. When I first looked, I thought it might be above our budget, but the per person cost included so much that we ended up saving money. They were SO flexible and helpful and really did anything and everything we needed to make the day exactly how we wanted it. The food was amazing and there was so much to choose from. They let us bring in our own dessert and alcohol which saved us a ton. The space was BEAUTIFUL!! I can't recommend Feasts of Fancy enough!

I happen to be invited to two receptions here over the last year and wasn't that impressed. They are supposed to be known for their food, but its funny because they served the exact same menu at both weddings! That didn't seem very personalized for me. When one of my friends (who had her reception there) told me how much they spent on the food alone, I was shocked. For an h'ordeuvre, a skewer with a a grape, piece of cheese and a piece of ham? That is something I would feed my three year old at snack time...I got engaged over Christmas and definitely won't be looking at this place...save your money and look elsewhere.
