Fat Bee Drinks

Love the drinks and the atmosphere. The staff aren't necessarily very chatty or helpful but we didn't seem to mind on this particular visit. Service needs a boost but everything else is wonderful.

I had been really looking forward to visiting this place, but perhaps I set my hopes too high. I won't say it was bad, but it wasn't great.I entered from a door on the side by the Tide Laundry and right inside the door was a pile of random stuff that they had labeled as "garage sale". I can understand trying to sell some left over items, but it isn't necessarily an aesthetically pleasing thing to greet you. Also, not pleasing was an odd smell. I can't describe the smell, but later I felt that I could taste the same "smell" in my drink.I purchased a brown sugar boba and creme brulee boba to go. The staff was pleasant. Although I was the only person there, I was given a buzzer to wait for my drinks (which is fine).After my short drive home with the drinks -- which I'll say didn't look as decadent as the pictures on their menu -- we both sampled our choices. I'm not a boba expert by any means, but mine was not very exciting and had that weird taste. My mom, who hadn't been with me for the visit, had the creme brulee drink. Her initial reaction was "it's ok but it has a weird taste" too. I explained to her at that point that my drink tasted like the place smelled so maybe it's some spice or ingredient they use. I'm not sure.So, I'll just say it was fine, not great, but I probably won't go back.

I love the variety of drinks that they offer. I am a big blended Taro fan. Ordering was convenient and my drink was served quickly. I feel it is reasonably priced compared to everything else in the world now. It is definitely an indulgence. There are usually a couple of people sitting inside but it is never loud. Fat Bee is located in a popular shopping center so it is a great place to stop and get a drink while running errands.

Was the best Boba I've had in KC in a while and the boba was chewy but not too chewy, and the staff was super friendly and nice helping us find the greatest drink!Really Recommend this place!

Fine to go for a drink, not the best. I ordered a croffle and it was super bitter for some reason.

Tea here is not great. But it works in a pinch.Tonight we stopped in while killing some time and I had to leave because of the smell. It was an assault on my senses. A combo of bleach, sewer gas from dry floor drains, and that smell of an unclean floor that builds up with purifying food. My family tried to go in anyone and they lasted about 30 seconds longer than I did. I can't imagine what my drink would have been contaminated with.

A solid boba tea place! I absolutely LOVE that they're one of the few milk tea joints that offers oat milk and other alternative milks, so that cements them as my top boba in town so far!Service was nothing over the top but not bad either - it seems like a place for high school kids run by high school kids. I did enjoy the space though! Do yourself a favor if you've never had Taro/Ube and get that milk tea, you'll thank me!

Got a Thai tea, with boba. Very good drink and good boba. Overall, a great place to get a drink and some fresh boba.

Stopped in with a friend, this is probably my third time of having Boba ever and I was not disappointed. I ordered the taro and it was perfect, not too sweet. The service was what you expect and restaurant very cheerful. My family is looking forward to our next visit.

One of my go to boba places. My favorite drink from here is their brown sugar crème brûlée. The drinks are creative and taste delicious!
