Who knew this was here? In a strip mall on Antioch in south Overland Park!? It's a cafe/dining room, European grocery and shopping experience, with a LOT of interesting (and also mysterious because there was no descriptive labeling) bulk candy options, and more unfamiliar food items with European (and other) labels that were fascinating, but literally "Greek" to me, I think Google would really be a helpful tool in this surprising, almost hidden-gem of a store! The cafe offerings sounded really good, but that will be for another trip, as I had little time on the evening I stumbled upon this shop. I bought a container of a delicious salad of chopped beets, potatoes, peas, and celery, with a balsamic dressing from the deli area... again...who knew?!Done be deterred by my 3 stars...that was ONLY because there were so many unfamiliar items that I longed to know about, but they seemed short-staffed and very busy, and I think most of the customers were regulars.

A new market and cafe just open up down the street from me. Decided to check it out one afternoon. Nice patio seating in the front. Inside it looks like a cute cafe or coffee shop setting. With some aisle of dry groceries and frozen food cases along one wall. No too big of a place. Surprisedly, I see a couple of people there with their laptop working which I think would be a little noisy of a place to get any work done. They do serve lunches there. But unfortunately, we have already eaten somewhere else. Menu was not too extensive. I did not see a beverage menu but they do serve coffee there. We decided to buy some pastries/desserts to take home. A selection of different ones from the case. Pricing seem a bit high, guess being that it is "European". After eating a few later, I must say they were staled and not fresh. The pastries must have been in the case too long. Overall, they have a good concept. The shop itself is too small. I would try them again.

I liked the good variety of European items available at the market, the tasty treats available at the cafe and the professional service, but there was room for improvement during my dine-in visit. The two macaroons ($3.50 each) were nicely sized and delicious.Unfortunately, there was no menu shown online, the cafe's menu board was not operating and items in the bakery and deli cases were not labeled with descriptions or prices. The cafe dining area was clean and new, but without background music.Overall, my experience was A-OK with room for improvement.

nothing says cold-weather, comfort food like a bowl of freshly made pelmeni on the menu: veal pelmeni with sour cream & fresh dill x 2, napoleon cake, baklava, cappuccino, and mineral water our thoughts: we have a special place in our heart for & food, and theydefinitely delivers. loved the bright, airiness of the cafe, the warm & friendly staff, and the wide selection of kosher & eastern european goods. looking forward to trying more of their breakfast & lunch offerings soon!our tip: make sure to order a slice of the homemade napoleon cake to enjoy with your coffee. it's light & sweet, but not sugary and one of our all time favorites

Great service, food, and environment! I came here to sample the cafe menu and do some coworking. Comfy seating for the win! Environment is good for people watching - plenty of activity occurring. I enjoyed the cottage cheese pancakes and beef dumplings with some hot tea. Altogether this was a nice visit and I'll be back to shop! PS prior reviews may have mentioned lack of menu and background music - that has been rectified and both were in place.
