Stopped in here while hubby was geocaching! This little place is DE-LIGHT-FUL. We tried all the available wines today. All are semi-sweet, with a couple of dry, fruit wines. We were a bit skeptical because we mostly drink dry wine. Do not pass this place up. All of the wine was absolutely delicious. We also tasted the mulled wine and !oh boy! it was so tasty! Make the trip to Historical Lecompton, Kansas if for no other reason than Empty Nesters Winery!!

This place has a great small town atmosphere and is simply adorable! My best friend and I joined in on Empty Nester's Grand Opening festivities and had a blast! From talking with locals to sampling the wine and wine slushes, it was the best time we have had since the start of the pandemic -- I highly recommend stopping in! It's a little off the beaten path, but you'll be greeted with a friendly staff and an awesome Sangria slush!
