Em Chamas Brazilian Grill

This used to be my favorite place. My family has been eating here since they first opened. So I thought I would treat a friend who did me a huge last minute favor. She'd never been before.The good - the food is amazing. You can get more than full from the salad bar so watch out. It includes hot foods as well. So when the meat begins to circulate to your table leave room. Honestly - the only thing I miss is the bowl of spice that used to be near the rice. I don't think they have it anymore.The not so good. We had a young waitress who stopped by every five minutes. Maybe she was training. I should have asked for someone else. But after a while of her "upselling" and continuously interrupting our conversations I was ready to pack up, pay and leave. I didn't see that happen to other customers around us. Also, continuously asking if we want a desert menu while we are eating (or trying to) is ridiculous. Meat was just okay. Not amazing like I remembered.Also - we ordered mocktails. 2 Redrum Lemonades. No alcohol. But our bill still included a liquor tax. Sigh.Em Chamas is really good, but I didn't enjoy the overall experience. Receipt was $145 before tip. My daughter took her boyfriend the next week and had a better experience. So I only took one star off my reviewAgain - salad bar was amazing. Rotating meat service was just okay. Waitress was not up to standard.

Awful they closed down their entire bar happy hour area for restaurant week and would not honor it in the main area. We come here often. Definitely disappointed.

Wanted to try a new restaurant. The atmosphere was quick and fast. The service was quick and fast, the place was packed. There was a hot and cold bar. The options were great. The main courses were meat, meat, meat. The host was decent and the dessert was AMAZING. (Mousse w Passionfruit and Cheesecake and Tiramisu)

$50 per person, unlimited meat and salad bar with plenty of side dishes on the buffet too. Lamb here is amazing. Almost all of the meat is very salty so be aware. Great service.

I am a fan of their happy hour in the lounge area, great small plates and wine deals. The food is fresh and plentiful. I do not eat the dining room due to $$$$ and way too much food for me. But there is hardly ever anyone here ever ... so the lounge is super quiet, chilly and lacks ambiance. It's fine if you just pop in and want something very quiet. I adore the one male bartender that usually works, he's friendly and has great recommendations. Unfortunately I will say my other interactions with what appears to be management is lacking.Super disappointed the other day because the lounge was dead and it was nice outside. They wouldn't let us sit out there apparently since was a small pallet box laying out near the patio floor. Who cares! It was not a hazard at all. I even offered to come inside to the bar to place my orders but they said no. So ... our whole group went elsewhere. No sense of service at all!

Haven't been here in like 10 years! Thought we would go since it's been forever. It was very good. Loved all the meat selections offered. Even got some grilled pineapple! It was so good. Glad they came around with it to the table! The buffet part does have some good options, but don't expect something huge like you're at Golden Corral. No. It's fancy sides, this place isn't really for young kids. But the buffet part has had a salad bar with 4 choices of dressings and few toppings. Also some cold sides like pasta salad, pineapple salad, cucumber salad, broccoli salad, asparagus, other veggie blends, and such. If you're picky you might not like the cold side options except salad. They have a lot of Brazilian sides. It's a Brazilian restaurant! There's soup, alfredo, mashed potatoes, beans, veggies for hot sides. Beef stroganoff was good too. You get bread and these cinnamon banana things too for the table. They do have dessert if you happen to save any room! You get so full with all the meat! We got tres leche cake and this passionfruit mousse. O my gosh, that mousse is amazing!!!

The restaurant is nice, quiet, the right amount of lighting, and great service and food. Perfect place if you are keto. Amazing mashed potatoes if you are not. lol. Love their ranch dressing, potato salad, and cubed cheese. I only wish there were a few more plain salad toppings, as that's more my personal taste. We go several times per year, even with a 45 min drive!

45 freaking minutes for a god damn single shrimp asked the waiter 3 times as I sat there for 45 minutes to get a few shrimp and the guy brings 1 shrimp to my plate.... I'll never eat at this over priced hole again...

Ordered carryout from the small plate menu, 2 Caesar salads with Spedini. The Spedini was HARD not moist, it wasn't fresh, you could tell it was cooked on Wednesday 7/3 and warmed up on Friday 7/5 and it was served with no salad dressing. Had the Burnt End sandwich, the meat was hard and chewy. The food had a leftover taste. The food wasn't fresh tasting. I was given a $100 gift card that I forgot to use, I'm willing to sell it for $20!
