Best Mexican we have had in a long time.. the vibe is casual, chill, melting pot, very laid back. Hard working crew, friendly and attentive. Portions are big, hot and full of flavor. Only complaint was the chips, hard, felt like I would break a tooth. Mild salsa has minimal flavor, we asked for hot and mixed them. I'm not a beer drinker, but the beers are in a huge frosty mug and everyone around us was ordering them. I've heard that the margaritas are great, it's on my list for next time! Very reasonably priced- we got chips (2 mild salsa and 2 hot- complimentary), 1 quesadilla, 1 combo. And We both brought leftovers home. $23.Gentleman (owner?) was very engaged with diners, confirming if you were satisfied. Happy to return and support this small business!

Our big little group of friends are Taco Tuesday regulars at El Volcan. We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and Cinco de Mayo here for years. Why? The service is fantastic, food is delicious and prices are great, not to mention those awesome margaritas. Show up as you are, expect to have a little wait for a table, and then enjoy some great food and people. Family restaurant feel - loads of regulars - and laid back environment. Food faves: BOGO Tacos on Tuesdays - crowd fave, I love the street tacos, white queso, & guacamole. Everything is pretty tasty so check it out.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday. My coworker got a enchiladq with rice and beans, while I got beef taco salad. They gave chips in the beginning with salsa for every person. Staff was friendly and prompt.My salad was not bad. I had better tasting ones, but it did the job as a taco salad. Lol. The beef were ground/chopped, had shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and beans. The shell was crispy and I asked for extra hot salsa/sauce, which was hot and good.I should try different item next time I come back.

I had the tour of Mexico I believe it was called... so it's a variety of things on the menu .... All in all it was good. Could improve on the salsa but I'll be back for a chicken burrito ...

Review is for weekday lunch.Had burrito and taco special, which included rice and beans. Great service. Complimentary chips and salsa . Salsa needs a bit of zip. Small location. Was completely filled at 1 pm.

Forewarned there is a new owner and he fired the entire crew and hired new people. The food is no longer tasty, and the margaritas are watered down.The ambience still seems the same, but I believe that's because not everyone has figured out the changes yet

A hole in the wall type resteraunt. Food was Good, flavors good, they cooked my food perfect. Bestie is super picky and loved it. Good flavor and service. Will be back

Yes, there is a bar, folks! Great service & friendly environment. Their meat tastes like it has been simmering in a delicious broth, hard shells have a unique physique, & their spicy salsa is so yummy, you can really taste all the components! I highly suggest this place to everyone, you won't be disappointed! It's just all around exceptional!
