Loved it. I used to go to El torito all the time in central, and I would get the "Pro Tip: Arrachera with marinade, 3 pounds, with fresh tortillas, verde avocado salsa." I literally bought $1,000 worth of that meat in one visit for a catering event I was cooking, and they accommodated no problem with a call ahead. They run a very tight ship here, the place looks great. It's clean, there's no one screwing around, the employees all look like they care about what they're doing, and they're all working so hard. I love it, I wish more stores behaved like this store behaves. The one caveat I can say is, this is definitely a Latin American grocery store and meat market. Spanish is almost required, and the other patrons will look at you curiously. Not in a bad way however, just in a puzzled way - though I am a large white male, so. I enjoy it though, as you can really feel a change in culture when perusing the aisles. It's like shopping in Mexico. I grew up near a very large Latin community, mostly I grew up in a Latin community, this place feels homey. Do yourself a favor and stop on in. Try some pan dolce, it's a case filled with sweet breads that are wildly affordable, these little round breads covered in different colored frostings. Delicious. And their 3 for a dollar rolls are the perfect bread for literally any sandwich. They also have a huge selection of pinatas, and their cake selection is absurd! I think it rivals any french patisserie. I live near this place and I'm glad they built out here, because it's the tops. I wish they'd fix up their parking lot though...oh well; with meat that, good who cares.

Great Mexican/latino grocery store with fresh hot tortillas, baked goods, cakes, cooked foods like carnitas, and a carnicería (raw meat counter). I bought some "adovada de puerco" (thin, marinated bone in pork steaks) to grill at home along with fresh hot corn tortillas and some pastries. Everything was great. I'll be back to try more.

The best tacos! Homemade tortillas and many affordable items to choose from. I have great shrimp, tacos, fish, and steak as well. You really can't go around with any choice.

I used to go to Bonita Michoacán across the street but this blew it out of the water. They have a huge selection of fresh produce and meats along with everything else you need for cooking a great meal. Very very clean and well kept. Fast checkout lanes and nice cashiers. 10/10
