El Rincon Azteca

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Chanute... and maybe even in the SE Kansas area. Been here numerous times over the course of my two years in Chanute. Service has always been awesome and the staff are super friendly. The place is a bit divey, and could probably use a major upgrade on the inside. Food is consistently amazing. Good flavors and spice. Even give you bags of chips - with tons of the amazing salsa - for the carry out. :)

I'm so happy I stopped here for lunch! The tacos were fabulous and the margarita was sooo good! The service was personable and I felt like I had been there forever on my first visit. If you are out in Chanute Ks, this is a great place to stop and fill up!

The price is right and even the "small" margaritas are pretty large. Typical fare for the region, served quickly by friendly waitstaff.

Great food, the dip is exceptional and the Mexican tacos are spot on. If you're hungry the portions will have you needing to unbuckle your pants or belt! Really recommend any one in the area to check it out!

Stopped here on our way to KC and we were not disappointed. Salsa was tasty. I ordered pollo con queso, a chicken dish smothered in cheese, and it was large and delicious. The husband ordered chili rellenos and they were pretty good as well. Service was fine. Prices were typical. Good food for a small town.

In town for work. I've been to El Rincon twice now. Nice little family run Mexican restaurant. Clean. Lots of help. This place gets packed. Go early or late. Lots of food included in the $12.99 Street Tacos! More than I can eat! Very good. Reminds me of Denver food trucks!

We LOOOOVE this place! The staff is great, the food is amazing, and the portion sizes are huge! We always get the Fajitas Mexicano. Wow. So good. The chips and salsa are very good, and we get guacamole as well. It's our favorite guacamole anywhere!

Arguably the best restaurant in Chanute. Huge portions, many options, and friendly staff. I highly recommend the Happy Pig and it is PLENTY to be shared between two people.

Maria and her staff are fantastic! Food is the best around. Great spot with all new seating. Don't miss this one!

Fantastic food and fantastic service! The wait staff constantly spread good will and kept our margaritas full! We didn't even know this place existed and had always eaten the Mexican food behind WalMart. Never again.
