El Panzote

The location offers in and outside seating, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Food-wise: black beans are flavorful, the burritos are a nice Chipotle size (if not, even bigger), they have frijoles con queso and queso con loroco pupusas-- they were a little gritty but I also don't usually add the curtido. The red salsa was delicious and the aguas frescas were refreshing.

Not sure why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars. It's one of the very few Olathe restaurants that deserves one. Come here to get authentic food made and served to you by a nice family. Expect that it won't be Taco Bell fast because it's made from scratch by family members. There are dozens of Mexican food trucks around. This is the place to go to get a fat belly!

Best small restaurant I've ever been, is 46 min away from home but I love it! Very humble place, super clean and the best people!One of my favorites places!

Amazing food and friendly owner call ahead to order or sit down and wait it won't disappoint

Had the fried chicken Torta for lunch and it was fire!Fresh bun, verde or anaranjado for lunch. I was the only person in there but saw some to go orders. Fresh and tasty!! Def bringing fam back to try!!

Just finished eating there a highly recommend this place, the owner was very respectful and quite pleasant, and the food was amazing I will be back.

New owners and the menu has changed slightly and the prices have increased again. They do offer papusas which were just ok.... The rest of our food was definitely not up to the same standard as we were used to. The hot red salsa wasn't even edible. This makes me sad because this place used to be soooooo good!

We pass this restaurant/bakery almost everyday since we live a few miles away! My husband I decided to stop by on Sunday evening and we were pleasantly surprised! We were the only ones there and it brought me back to our trips to Mexico! The place was very clean and the service was great! The menu is plastered all over the walls with pictures! My husband ordered a steak burrito and I ordered a chicken quesadilla! Our order took a little longer than expected but we didn't mind! The food itself was delicious! It was flavorful without being too spicy! They also sell shakes/smoothies and lots of desserts and bakery items! We didn't try any this time but that gives us an excuse to come back again

This establishment is not called El Panzote any more. It has changed ownership or something. It's El Jaroche or something like that. This needs to be updated with new info. New name, menu,????

WAIT ABOUT A MONTH (Late July) FOR THE OLDER COUPLE TO GET BACK FROM VACATION.  IF NOT CHECK EVERY CONTAINER OF YOUR CARRY OUT ORDER FOR ACCURACY. Have a bad dish it happens. With this train wreck we will not be back until they come back. See attached receipt Chicken Flauntas are a plate with rice..... except they forgot the rice. Tostadas.... well they broke out the beef for 1 tostadas onto 3 shells and very little vegetables. Huarache.... up charged for asada (steak).... too much work to use steak?  again light on the shredded beef and vegetables Chicken Quesadilla .... well almost got it right they used cheese and the flour  tortilla, but forgot the chicken. Pork Tamale ...Never made it to the bag. Sauces had lids not tight,  on so it was all over the containers. I should have known it was not going to be up to grandma and grandpa's standards,  when I waited the 20 minutes and went back in and the girl tells me our food is ready...... what was it you ordered again? We lucked out when we found this place, and after going in regularly for the last 6 months. This happened..... very disappointing. I hope they can get their house in order.
