El Luchador

Food is always fresh and tastes great. I haven't had one thing there that wasn't awesome. And then the cherry on top is the customer service, they are always ready to help and are super friendly. My current menu pick is the Birria burrito, but there's nothing on the menu that has disappointed. Definitely worth a try!

I really liked the entrance revolving door and found it unique. The walls are beautifully painted and they have awesome decorations. Their service was good, they helped describe the menu and some items. They make their empanadas ahead of time so they don't take requests on the filling which is fair. The salsa tasted really good and had lots of flavor, it was on the runnier side. I ordered the empanada platter and got a quesabirria empanada and ground beef empanada. The ground beef empanada was the highlight of the place, it was extremely good and fulfilling. The fried shell was very soft and crispy, while the meat was full of flavor. The quesabirria wasn't my favorite, the meat was kinda dry and didn't have a lot of the flavor that birria usually has. The rice was plain with a little flavor but was good. Overall a really cool place that I hope does really well and I'll be back.

Just enjoyed our first meal here. The restaurant was clean, well kept, and the decor was very fun. The service was excellent. The person taking orders was friendly and walked me through the menu. We had an asada burrito and the chicken rings empanada plate. The food was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and good portions. Chips and salsa were also very good. We will definitely be back!

The service was quick, and the food was fresh and hot! We had a great time. They came and checked on us and asked us what we liked, and my son liked the best. Really cool lucha graffiti art inside and out.

The food is authentic and yummy. I'm impressed with the quality of ingredients. All of the meats are tender and perfectly seasoned. El Luchador is actually the best Mexican food I've had in the entire metro. Service is outstanding as well. Also, prices are fair. Next time, I'll post photos. Highly recommend.

Family really liked this place! Tried the birria, the chicken tinga, the empanadas, the rice, beans, and salsa. Everything tasted fresh and very good. Clean, cool decor inside and out, and can tell the owners really put love into this vision of theirs. Friendly and attentive service.Do yourself a favor and try it. I do know Mexican food and wouldn't post this good of a review if the food was only so so. Will be coming back.

Authentic Mexican , great street tacos, very tasty salsa and chips! Great service , nice staff, clean and comfortable My go to lunch place for Asada tacos!!!

El Luchador is where I stopped in for a snack, wanting to check out the new restaurant. The staff was friendly, explaining all of their dishes, and that they are still adding to the menu. Having dined in Old Mexico many times, I was not disappointed at the authenticity of the dishes, and was amazed at how delicious everything was!! Manuel even had me try another taco and a cheese empanada, which was over the top! For fresh-made, authentic Mexican food, I would highly recommend El Luchador.

Love the empanadas, tacos, chips & salsa! The owners are very friendly and so is their staff. Our go to place for authentic Mexican food.

Great new little spot in Gardner. Food was done perfect and reminds me of southwest real Mexican food. Super friendly and you have to try the hot sauce on your tacos!
