I checked this place out for the first time during 2025 Restaurant Week, being my first time checking out this restaurant I didn't know what to expect. I ordered a hot Chia latte which came out in a huge cup. Having tried Chia at several places in town I found that the flavor was very well and probably one of the better flavored ones in the area. For the food I ordered a cinnamon roll, not only was this the size of an appetizer plate, but it was very fluffy and soft. flavor was a very good and had just the right amount of frosting over it. My main corse I got the Southwestern benny, The chorizo gravy was amazing!! I got the fruit cup with it for my side and I had to take 1/2 of it home for later. Together the brisket was soft and a perfect mix. I will defiantly go back and eat here some more.

we stopped by Eggtc. for kc restaurant week and will definitely be back! the vibes weren't like your standard hipster brunch place- it was much cozier than that. we both got specialty coffees (a honey creme latte and a mexican spiced mocha) which were both amazing. the coffees were definitely on the sweeter side, but not overwhelming, i found both to be perfect. everything came out very quickly. our pastries were warm and tasted very fresh. the caesar salad and cubano didn't stand out, but i recommend the shakshuka. the real cherry on top was our server kim, she handled our whole section with warmth and ease. she was fun to interact with, quick to answer our questions. highly recommend stopping by!

Perhaps KC's most iconic, best, and most-loved breakfast/lunch restaurant, Eggtc has been at this location for 18 years. Yovana, my server, was excellent, and like most everyone who works here, she's a longtime employee. They clearly inspire loyalty in both their customers and their staff, which seems to be a rarity in today's world.Ambience is like a good neighbor... been around a while, comfortably familiar, reliable, and friendly! The decor is eclectic, and I'm not sure it's ever been updated, but you'll feel right at home. The menu is full of diverse, interesting, and delicious options, and includes everything from the most down-home traditional breakfasts and sandwiches to some very creative offerings. I love their Nova Scotia Lox Eggs Benedict. I'm not a big fan of poached eggs, but here you can have them cooked any way you want, which might horrify any Eggs Benedict purist. Born and bred in KC, Eggtc. is not a chain restaurant, and has just two locations, both in the KC Metro area. This one is very near the Country Club Plaza, another Kansas City icon.

My fiancee and I both got the Nova Scotia benny - hers seemed cooked to perfection, but my eggs were more soft boiled than poached. Still...it was pretty tasty. The latte was really good also! Service was good. I'd come back, hoping the egg cooking skills would be more consistent next time.

Eggtc. was great! My husband and I sat at the bar, since they were pretty busy. The lady running the bar was doing an excellent job keeping up with all the patrons sitting there as well as coffees, alcoholic drinks, and smoothies. She was very friendly. They have decaf espresso here which is music to my ears. The seasonal pumpkin pie latte was delicious. As I often do at places like this, I ordered too much food for breakfast because I have a hard time choosing between sweet & savory. I got the BELT sandwich which came with potatoes. This was perfect! Perfectly crispy bacon, and the herbed mayo was really good. I also ordered the multigrain pancake with blueberry compote. This was tasty! They also offer pure maple syrup for a small upcharge which is cool, since most places only offer the maple flavored corn syrup. My husband got the breakfast pizza and was very happy. I will definitely keep this on my list of breakfast/brunch places in KC!
