Eastside Cafe

What a fantastic small town find!!! Service was great, fellow diners were friendly and food was well prepared. Because we knew we had a big family dinner in the matter of hours but had to eat lunch (road travel timing can be crazy), we decided to split the lunch portion chicken fried steak. It came with a huge roll, large side salad and two sides. The steak was fork-tender!!! Everything in fact was perfectly prepared and was the right size for one, or in this case two who would be eating again in 5 hours. I would definitely stop here again!

I really love the hamburgers and the home made onion rings were amazing! The service was excellent.

Found this place on the way to the lake - the fish sandwich and chicken fried steak were great. Good food at reasonable prices and the service was friendly and efficient. Will stop by again.

It never hurts to give a business a second chance! Breakfast at Eastside Cafe was excellent. The eggs were cooked sunny side up-just perfectly. The biscuits and gravy were tasty. The hash browns were very good. This breakfast was filling and leftovers made for a nice second meal. The waitress was very good. I should have noted her name. No complaints on this visit and I will return in the future.

Onion rings are the best we have ever ever ever eaten!!! Chicken Fried Steak sandwich was wonderful!! Wish we had stopped in before on our travels. Gotta figure out how to get back here somehow!!!!!ps Saw the rolls and oh my goodness!!

Great food ,great service! Mandy was awesome! We ordered the onion ring appetizer, which filled up two to go boxes after we ate on it for a while. Delicious ! We had a cheeseburger and the cinnamon roll was crazy good. Next time we stopped through. heading to Oklahoma. We will pick up an order of cinnamon rolls to take with us.

Awesome restaurant, awesome staff, wonderful service , the best food!! Go visit them and try some good food!

Eastside Cafe is AWESOME!!! Their drinks are superb! I really enjoy their cheeseburgers! My server lacy was awesome!!! I'm always satisfied with the portions and I'm never left hungry, they really outdo themselves with great service and great food

This is the best breakfast I've eaten in a long time. The Belgian strawberry waffle was outstanding. The vegetarian omelette was also outstanding. This may be the best food in all of Girard, Kansas. I'll give it my highest recommendation. I will eat there again many times. The location is on the Square in Girard next to the courthouse.
