I can only speak to our experience with a birthday party here, not for the actual gymnastics. We attended an 8 year olds birthday here and the employee running the party did an excellent job. We've been to a few parties hosted at similar places and it's always a free for all chaos fest, but not at Eagles Gymnastics. This employee did a terrific job clearly explaining rules to a group of 7-9 year olds. She also helped facilitate games such as tag and hide and seek and kept everything running smoothly. The facility was clean and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.

This review is strictly on a birthday party and communication. We have been eyeing Eagles for some time now because our daughter wants to start gymnastics. Their website is so easy to use and has a lot of information. I did need to call the office for additional information and they were extremely friendly. I felt prices were spot on with other locations around us and the time slots are sure to meet anyone's needs. They do have waitlists but in talking with the staff, spots open fast as kids move to different levels. My daughter's birthday was last week and I thought it would be perfect to have her party there and get a feel for the place. Reserving the gym was easy. The price includes an hour in the gym with use of all equipment and thirty minutes in the party room. They put a white table cover down for you. You bring in whatever you would like and they do not have any extra charges for that. There is a staff member on the gym floor observing the kids but other than that they stay in the background. It truly felt like I was in my own home without the mess to clean up. It was flawless. Each child gets a goody bag with a free open gym coupon and $10 off their first month along with two suckers. I will add that my plan worked and my daughter is very eager to get signed up and has already planned her date with friends to go for open gym. Side note, this place has been around forever. They must be doing something right and I am confident if you feel otherwise they would do all they could to fix it.

Very disappointing for preschoolers. No consistency with instructors. It seemed there was a new one each week and that they were just putting in time. No passion for kids or enthusiasm. Instructors seemed very young as well. Too much time spent on trampoline, just jumping and not enough on teaching the kids skills. We have chosen to move onto another gym.

I must agree, with regard to the open gym. The price is now $15 for 1.5 hours. The kids were not entertained or directed at all, and it didn't seem like a super upbeat, fun environment. The kids were bored after 20 minutes, and there is no way to purchase a partial pass, if you get there for the last 30 minutes of open gym or something. I can think of many, MANY ways to entertain my kiddos for $15.00 per child! To put this in perspective, say I take all three kids to open gym (cost of $45.00), no snacks included. With this same $45, I could buy each child a milkshake, smoothie, or ice cream treat and take them to Target's dollar spot or the dollar store to let them each spend $7 or so dollars of their own. Even after that, I would still have enough money to purchase a new DVD, a new board game, or some fun craft for my kids to enjoy! Just my two cents...

Eagles suffers from numerous issues. Upon arrival, the stench of must and rarely cleaned equipment overwhelms you. Immediately after every practice, my child would have to shower in hot water to avoid contracting some weird rash. Management is inconsistent, failing to register kids for competition promptly and not following through on other processes effectively. Staffs also are unclear how to group girls by there talent. The gym also has varied coaching ranging from good to mediocre. One coach forgot a child during competition. Another coach consistently displayed tremendous bias towards certain groups of girls, counter to the basic principles of coaching of equity, fairness, and sportsmanship. When we brought this attention to management, there was immediate denial and defensiveness, even going as far to deflect the issue to moms who "can be catty." Finally, the price is slightly high for the overall value. Eagles has several committed coaches and many eager students. However, given the level of commitment that gymnastics requires, kids deserve much, much better than what this facility offers. Addendum: Eagles' owner has rallied her friends to post glowing responses in an effort to undermine my assessment. She also posted her own reply about the number of years her facility has been in business. Number of years in business serves as a poor measure of success. Sears and JCPenney still drag on despite lackluster performance. The better response would be to gain some objectivity and research the very real problems I have noted - not turn this into a social media battle. We have tried to talk with her in writing and in person. However, efforts to discuss issues with her have been futile. Many parents (notably those of color) have shared these concerns. When kids are concerned, every effort should be made to remedy the issues instead of denying and deflecting. Such a shame.

Way to Go Eagles Gymnastics Centre! We have attended classes at Eagles off and on for the past 15 1/2 years. We have participated in all kinds of classes: boys and girls, little kids fun, young kids sort of competitive, and even upper level USAG competitive teams. My kids have always had valuable and fun and safe experiences that have positively impacted their lives outside of Eagles. The coaches and staff are professional and caring. They take the time to get to know your child and your family and help you achieve goals. You will be so happy if you choose to make Eagles a part of your child's life. Gymnastics helps all future sports and even their ability to be confident kids outside of the gym!

Our child was severely injured at Eagles Gym as she was not monitored. This gym uses teenagers to "teach" gymnastics. Our child ended up hospitalized, yet the owner, Kim Fuchs, fought her receiving any compensation. We won only afterinvesting time and hiring an attorney. She never called to seehow this child was faring. Our child was placed with older childrenand left to roam the gym. We complained numerous times, to noavail. It is all about the money, not the safety of the gymnasts.

My review is based on the birthday party we had here for my 4 year old. It was outstanding and the best gymnastics birthday party I've attended (I've been to 4 other facilities for similar events). The facility is a great size, clean and bright. We had the whole space to ourselves - unlike some other places that have more than one party at the same time. The party room is decorated very nicely before you arrive with paper lanterns and pompoms hung from the ceiling. Eagles provided vinyl tablecloths, took care of all the setup and cleanup, and provided a balloon and small party favor for all the kids. The party was very well executed and nice facility. I would highly recommend for kids parties.
