E H Young Park

Another impressive park that I have never been to until I discovered it while following the KC Parade of Hearts. Located at the confluence of Line Creek into the mighty Missouri River just downstream from the Argosy Casino. This riverfront park has lots to offer; multiple pickleball courts, picnic shelters, lots of paved walking/biking paths, kids playground equipment, large public art installations and a beautiful courtyard to watch the longest river in the nation snake it's wide muddy water past your gaze. There are not a lot of places in the metro that offer such a great up close vista of our most under-utilized and unappreciated natural wonder. I see myself returning for pre-work lunches or coffee since I work just a mile away. Good job city of Riverside!
