I visited Dutch Kountry Market with a friend of my mom's to buy cheese powder for macaroni and cheese. I did buy a pie (which was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to buy another one for $5.99. Full of cherries and not sickening sweet.) Also, they had clear pure vanilla. I like clear vanilla for icing. And they one of the few places that has it. Now the three stars are for the disgusting cherry preserves. My mom bought some and the first spread of the preserves were good. What was sickening was the rest of the jar. It was so sweet I couldn't swallow it. All I got on my spoon was gel with sweetness that about made me spit it out. The sesame sticks I bought weren't very good, and the rice crackers weren't very good. I did buy white cheddar powdered cheese which tasted good in mac and cheese. I will most likely only stop at this place when I go to Columbia or need clear vanilla. 3 stars is very forgiving.

Dutch Kountry Market is an Amish store and it is awesome. They have a lot of bulk items. The products they sell are of a very high quality and without preservatives that you would find in most grocery stores. The atmosphere is laid back and inviting. You cannot find the same products with the same high quality and low prices anywhere else around here. I highly recommend it.

We stopped at the store and I bought a blackberry pie and rolled oats. My friends bought arthritus medicine and another bought a blackberry pie. We enjoyed our pies. I would like to know where they get their bulk goods there. I would be interested in buying flour and other items if I knew they were organic and non GMO.

Stop in every time I go back and forth on 50 Hwy. Always clean, people always friendly and helpful. Their Rib Rub and BBQ Spice are perfect. Plus, they have fresh bread and pies too! Along with snacks for the kids (old and young alike).Great place to stop, save some dollars on bulk spices, get unique foods, and stretch the legs looking at all the furniture they have.

My daughter and I pulled into Dutch Kountry Market on a whim having no idea what to expect. What a great place! Full of all sorts of interesting food items, we tried a little of this and a little of that: honey, pumpkin seeds, sea salt, chia seeds, bees wax candles, goat cheese. It was hard to decide what to get. There were all kinds of specialty candies, jams, jellies, condiments, baked goods, bulk spices, soaps............the list goes on and on and the prices were very reasonable on everything. AND there was a whole section with furniture (we didn't look at it as we weren't interested in furniture). The guys at the check out were very helpful and friendly. It is definitely worth stopping in and we will definitely be going back!

Stopped at Dutch Kountry Market on Friday as I returned from Kansas City. Loved the smell of fresh baked bread when I entered the store. The bread was home made good. i also purchased 2 pies - 1 gooseberry and 1 blackberry. If there was more than a half cup of berries in either pie, I would be surprised. For $10 each, I would have expected to at least get the quality of a Mrs. Smith pie which are usually $5 to 6 at my local supermarket. The crusts were doughy, not flaky at all and were almost all gel. I took them to a family gathering with about 20 people, and the crowd was very excited by home made pie. After the first bites, the excitement ended. Those who already had pie tossed it into the trash. The rest didn't even try after hearing how bad it was. I tried one piece, and ended up with 2 pieces of berry in an entire piece of pie. I had been looking to find a place to buy good pies, instead I am going back to buying frozen from Marie Callender. They cost only about half as much, are loaded with fruit, and have great flaky crust.
