If you want a good hometown breakfast, this is the place. Made from scratch and super delicious. Very attentive service and my coffee cup was never cold or empty.

A very good, folksy, old-school diner. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star is because the coffee was weak. That said, my chicken fried steak and eggs was excellent. They use a very good sausage in their gravy, which was also generously present in my wife's omelet. She got breakfast potatoes while I opted for hash browns, but either would have been a fine choice. For me, the star of the show was the biscuit. Obviously home-made, they were warm and soft and melted in our mouths. I will return, but I might ask them to make a stronger pot of coffee...

The place is nice and clean but our food took forever. My friend and I got here around 9:35 am ordered then the food came around 10:20 am but it was the wrong food . Then we finally got our actual food around 10:30 am. Ordered the specialty breakfast + biscuits/gravy. The biscuits/g was delicious, the eggs were average, and the pancakes tasted thick and cardboard-like. Prices are average.

Ate lunch here on Saturday with a party of 6. Had a burger and tots and a Diet Pepsi. Burger was pretty good as well as the tots. You can order breakfast all day as well which is always a plus. This place was pretty busy but we were able to get right in and get seated. Lots of seating here. This is not too terribly far off the interstate if you are seeking something local that isn't fast food. You can easily get in and out pretty quick too. Definitely recommend coming here.

Heading east and dropped in for a lunch. We have had some very good breakfasts in the past so today? Lunch. Wifey had the catfish and lived it. It was just right with the crispyness. When you put your fork into in a double crunch was heard. It came with a very nice creamy coleslaw that I thought was awesome. I had the square piece of cod on a bun. Not too imaginative BUT the bun was toasted perfect and the veggies were fresh and not soggy. I took a trip thru the salad bar and it was good. They had some things that were unidentifiable and maybe a name tag would have helped. The fries that came with the meals were fresh and hot. Only bad part was the fried onion chips. Had they been hot I bet they would have been excellent We have been here many times and we will continue to visit because it is awesome. Big ol' glasses of iced tea

We are non smokers. The place is very smokey even though the rooms are separated. Food and service is decent but won't go back due to smoke.

Nice little restaurant with clear non--smoking space.Been there once, tried pancakes, eggs, sausage. Eggs and sausage were good. Pancakes were the worst I've had in years. The textured was like half cooked dough and the flavor was salty but still bland. Will try another meal, pancakes just might not be there forte.Service was excellent!

Stopped in for a late breakfast on a Monday. It was amazing. I had the JJ's scramble. Tons of ingredients and a lot of food. 5 over easy eggs on top. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. This is my kind of place. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a diner/cafe spot. The food was obviously prepared with skill and fresh ingredients.

This was potentially the worst breakfast I've ever been served. If you're just passing through... just keep going! This is clearly a locals only spot. Apparently the locals know what's edible and what's not...With 4.5 stars on yelp I expected a whole lot more. 1 star is being generous. My pancake was flat as if the batter was 2 or 3 days old and the edges were almost crispy. However the inside was fairly raw and pastey. My scrambled eggs were more than likely cracked and then poured onto the grill with almost NO actual scrambling involved; it was really just an over cooked mixed up fried egg. The sausage patties were fantastic and sadly the highlight of the meal. My breakfast date ordered an Everything bowl, and it was *everything* I wouldn't do... the cheese wasn't melted at all, the bacon wasn't fully cooked, the hash browns weren't fully cooked and it was watery at the bottom of the bowl with some of the same "scrambled" eggs as I had on my plate. His breakfast also came with a biscuit and gravy. The pilsbury biscuit was at least warmed and the gravy came out of a packet with some of the good sausage mixed into it. On the whole a decent biscuit and gravy. The coffee and the iced tea were very fresh and good. I wouldn't return but if I did I'd be forced to order the biscuit and gravy as it was the only edible fold on our table. I love supporting local family owned businesses but this one should be better than it was. The staff was very friendly but they mostly just talked and bantered loudly with one another the whole time we were there, including the kitchen that took 40 minutes to cook our undercooked flavorless meal. If the owner is reading this, please google Alton brown scrambled egg!
