Dos De Oros

I love going to both the sit down restaurant and the taqueria. This particular location provides ample seating and a more traditional Mexican restaurant ambiance. The staff greet you at the door, seat you, and take your order. They are very hospitable and always in a good mood. I have been here many times and the food is always consistent and accurate. The chips and salsa are always fresh as well since they heat up the chips for you. The portion size is great for the price. I will continue to come here as it is a fan favorite for work and personal dinners.

Upbeat lively music and colorful and helpful staff! Our first time visiting, my grandson really enjoyed his burger. He said he would give it a 8 and would come back again! I tried a pork tamale and it was very flavorful just a tad dry glad they have the cheese. The highlight for me was the ceviche tostada! Very fresh and marinated perfectly! It was spicy but in that good way! Loved it will come back to try more things.

Food: Most of the food items in their menu are very good. So far, I have tried "Arroz con pollo", "Steak Fajitas", "Enchiladas" & their burrito. I am big fan of their three types of salsas. (Mild, Rojo & Verde) They are the best in town Service: this place gets busy during lunch timings & the staffs are always very friendly and warm. Ambience: V good

The only reason I'm reserving one star is that we didn't have dinner. We met friends who are from Mexico and had appetizers & margaritas as the culture encourages when friends get together. I especially enjoyed the ceviche (and I'm guessing everyone else too) and it was empty. We also ordered the sampler. We decided to stay longer and also had the Queso Fundido. Cinco de Mayo works not be complete without some margaritas. We all had the margaritas with el Jimador tequila. This place was hoping!

Came here with a group of ladies. We were greeted right away and didn't wait long at all for a table. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The food came out fairly fast. I got enchiladas rancheros which was the special. It was very good. Two cheese enchiladas with Carne Asada on top. The chips and salsa were good too and they were always kept full. I'll also ordered a sangria which was pretty tasty, with some fruit in it. I'll visit again if I'm in the area.

Dos de Oros in Martin City is a hidden gem that transports you straight to the authentic Mexican spots you'd find in California or Texas. It's a true hole-in-the-wall establishment with a charming vibe.During my visit, I ordered the asada street tacos and El Paso street tacos with rice and beans. While the food was solid and reminiscent of the flavors I love from back West, I couldn't help but feel it could have been a bit more flavorful.Nevertheless, Dos de Oros holds its own in the Kansas City metro area, offering a taste of genuine Mexican cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. If you're craving a taste of the West Coast or Southwest, this place is worth a visit.

I hadn't been to this place in years, I am so glad we went back. Our service was great, we went on Thursday which we learned is fajita day, and they were delicious. One order was plenty to share. I also got a chili relleno and it was great, too. The restaurant is cozy and felt clean. Can't wait to go back.

I've been here several times after playing volleyball at volleyball beach right around the corner. The food is pretty good, the service is friendly and it has a great authentic local atmosphere. The only complaint I have is that I feel things are much higher priced then the other local Mexican places within in a few miles.

Absolutely the best Mexican food in south Kansas City! You will be treated like family, always! Extensive menu filled with everyone's favorites, plus a few surprising items that are equally as great. The Molcajete is a culinary experience and our current favorite. Check out the daily special, which is often newly crafted. The house Margaritas can't be missed, you'll never stop at just one; and the extensive bar offers other drinks as well. The staff puts in hard work and dedication in serving and most have been there for years. This speaks volumes for the owners and it shows in everything they produce. Definitely not a hole-in-the wall, there is ample seating, and they can accommodate larger groups, but plan ahead, as this place is well known and loved so the dinner rush is often times hoppin'! We have made friends just eating here, and dine here every week.

I consider this to be the best Mexican restaurant in the SKC area. Prompt and attentive service. Vast menu. Solid rellenos and chili verde. Well maintained and clean. Staff is very focused on customer service. Excellent.
