what a awesome spot.two brothers and different locations.need to try Knoxville staff is always friendly.usually get the bacon wrapped shrimp, enchiladas or tacos.the chimichanga is good too!definitely worth a visit in.

I'm not huge Mexican food fan, but I'd like to say that's bc I'm picky. I don't want some greasy ole American Mexican food, I want authentic. I think this leans more towards American Mexican rather than authentic, but still it was petty good. I thought Don Chuy's is def not the best, but it's pretty solid for Lee's Summit. We sat in the bar and our waiter was also the bartender, that's not a good idea if you want good service! So that was def missing.

Food is excellent. Never served something I didn't enjoy. The service was pleasant however we were given our ticket and boxes to go while still eating. The ambiance is perfect. Everything is clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. Thank you Don Chuy!

Louis was our waiter and he was amazing. He has been there since they opened. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Kansas City area.

Oh my goodness my favorite Mexican restaurant. Could eat there everyday but don't. Lol. Love anything that has their chicken in it. It's not spicy nor bland just fantastic. Crazy about the smashed avocado appetizer it's just smashed avocado but it's got to have something else it in because it's delicious. Prefer it to their guacamole. My favorite item is a chicken taco quite yummy. Almost forgot their refried beans are great and so is their rice. Can't go wrong there with anything you would choose.

Great food and great service. I'm from southern Californian where choices for Mexican food are near endless. Since moving to the Midwest, I've experienced too many "Americanized" Mexican restaurants. This place felt like I was back home, I could order and converse with the staff in full Spanish, my order was not messed up or lost in translation, and the chips and salsa were great (keep them coming)! A salsa bar is great, I really enjoyed the onion and habanero option! Definitely will be coming back.

Food was really good. We had excellent service. A+ on the drink menu too. Our grandson really loved the chips and salsa.

New Mexican restaurant alert! Service is a struggle point. Slow and delayed. We had to ask for water refills numerous times , more chips etc. However, the people are nice and they are trying. Training is needed though. The food was good, nothing to complain about. Generous servings and all meals came out hot. The gold was similar to El Maguey, La Fuente, and the other places around. Their drink and shot prices are up charged by a lot. A shot that is usually $12 at most Mexican restaurants they told us a shot would be $35 ... that's right people . That was beyond ridiculous for the price of the actual bottle. I would give them a little more time to get things in order before visiting again !

Never got seated after 65 minute wait. Told 25 - 30 minutes when we walked in. Waited. Hostess was setting up table when boss told her we had to wait for another party to end. And she was told to seat people who came in after us at that table.We left - we were a party of 12 with children and handicapped with nothing to eat or drink after an hour. My first and last time here. Rude manager!!

First time visitor. Incredible Steak and lobster. Have recommended to several family members and friends!
