Domain City Center

Wow, HIGHLY disappointed with this property + we did not even get the chance to tour it! I called and made an appointment for a Saturday morning. I was informed that they are only open to the public Monday-Friday. One week ago, I was able to make an appointment to tour the property on a Saturday morning at 10am. First off, we arrived to Domain City Center at 9:50 and waited outside the entrance. To be able to get in, you must have a key fob. A resident walking his dog was kind enough to let us in. The office was completely black, so we assumed no one there. We gave the phone number a call, but no answer so we left a message. We decided to give the number one last call, but again.. no answer. So we left one more voice message. You would think that the manager would give you a call back the same day or even the Monday after but NOPE. We had the be one to give THEM  call wanting to reschedule. Not once did they apologize for what had happened on that Saturday. We scheduled for a Tuesday evening appointment at 5:30. I decided that I should give them a call to confirm just to be safe this time. Well, I am really glad I did. They told me that they didn't have me down for a tour and asked if I could reschedule. Again, they did not even apologize. This whole situation has given me such a bad taste in my mouth that I can't even imagine what its like living here.  I hope the management can learn from these mistakes and not lose potential residents.

The Domain is a quiet & secure building w many amenities. The covered parking garage and entry to the hallway corridors create a safe and quiet environment. The buildings inside courtyard and pool is a unique space in this growing part of the KC metro area. The amenities of The Domain are exclusive and the tenants are friendly.

Such a beautiful place to call home. If your looking to live maintenance free, with salability, convenience and luxury then this is your spot. It's in the center of it all!

I am the current UPS driver for the area. The staff is far and beyond all other apartments complex's in the area. I've delivered all over joco and all over Missouri and one thing you should do to find the right complex for you is meet with the maintenance staff. That is the best way to find a good place to live. A apartment complex is only as good as its Maintenance staff. 1/8-1/9 we had about 4inches of snow ending around 1pm 1/9 by 2pm the Domain had ALL of there sidewalks and walk ways cleared. Today being 1/10 the domain was still the only complex in the area with all walkways cleared! shoutout to all the great people at the Domain

Elevators are in awkward positions. They have a freight elevator for moving in but people always end up getting the key and keep it locked on a floor all day without courtesy to other tenants. So a lot of times your left having to walk halfway around the building to find a way up.

We moved into Domain in February of 2018 and just signed another 15 month lease. We love living here - lots of floor plans and views to choose from, great finishes in the unit itself. We love hanging out by the pool, grilling, and listening to the waterfall. The collaboration room is the perfect place to host a party or hang out with other residents. There's a salon, Ally the fabulous dog concierge, and a well-equipped gym. The neighborhood is great, and getting better all the time - the new library is right next door, Public Market is just beyond that, the Lenexa Rec Center and the open courtyard are on the same block and are constantly having free events, including movie nights, the farmer's market, art shows, and concerts. The best thing about living here though is the staff - they are friendly and responsive! Service requests are answered quickly - immediately if it's an emergency, but even something as simple as a light bulb replacement is handled promptly. And sure - there has been and continues to be quite a bit of construction in the area, but it's almost done now so we can't wait to see what new businesses move into the area!
