A must stop destination when in the area! The Creole Gouda burger is phenomenal and the cheese curds are out of this world! Always great service, consistently delicious food, and a fun little diner-ish feel. Definitely worth the detour off the interstate.

I met family in Empora at Do-B's based off of Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint! This is a solid old school diner and literally everything on the menu is good. From milkshakes to po-boys, you will love your meal here. I knocked it down one star for two reasons: it's a small place so seating is at a premium! I didn't notice this from other reviews so if you have a big group, this probably isn't the place for you, or you may want to consider carry out. Also, the restrooms are on the exterior of the building. Granted, they are clean, but with a toddler and dodging freezing rain the day we visited, it was a massive drag to have to ask for a key and then trudge outside, dodging cold rain to use the restroom. To make matters worse someone on the stairwell above us poured a TON of dirty water right in front of where you wait and we nearly got drenched. So, that literally put a damper on the experience (pun intended!). At any rate, I'd 100% return the food is incredible, the people nice, and the ambiance is clean and nostalgic.

The service was very helpful and friendly. I really like the fact that all of the food is a special recipe. I get so tired of chain restaurants, and this is locally owned. I really like to support local businesses. The restaurant has some really cool souvenirs. The design of the restaurant is really cool, and comfortable.

This is a small hole in the wall place- set up like a fast food chain. But boy the food and service were good. We had two salads at lunch time - hot Caesar salad and the chicken salad with their special sauce. Oh my was it good. I know they have a few locations- but if they get one In Minneapolis- I'm there!

I'm the weird one who always gets a salad at the burger joint... but seriously, the salads are no joke!! My absolute favorite is the buffalo chicken salad. I always ask to go light on the chicken wing sauce (a tad spicy) and the chunky blue cheese (it's good but I can only take so much chunk!). I could eat this on a weekly basis. French fries are really good. It may the Pittsburgh in me but I love to throw a few on my salad. :) You can thank Primanti bros for that idea.

It's very solid, and to tell some things that are not inherent to the average Emporia resident, there is both a cash and student discount!

Bathrooms around back and need a key like in a gas station. Only Real con to the place. Food was delicious. Creative burgers with excellent flavor profiles. Beef fat fries in general taste a little stale; but that's just the trade off for the beef flavor. Red Cream Soda on tap. Loved it. Clean Tables, but a little cramped together. People were very friendly. I got the impression that they were training a new cook during our visit. They cooked one order at a time. Didn't take too long though. Would skip the cheese cake. Very expensive for a very basic piece of cheese cake. Honestly, Walmart cheese cake is better. It was frozen when we got it, ate it a couple hours later. Just okay. Atmosphere was small town quaint. Almost antique shop feel. Farm Fresh eggs for sale in the cooler. Lots of Christmas décor, as we went just a little before Christmas.

People were sweet, everything was nice. But the food just didn't taste that great. It looked good but the burgers were meh, the seasoned fries had no flavor, the hot wings had no flavor. The honey did not taste like real honey (I'm a bee keeper). The soda machine was down. But the service was wonderful. Everyone was really nice. The desserts were really good though! Milk shakes were great. Bathrooms were locked, which was pretty inconvenient during the dinner hour. Fun atmosphere.
