DJ Fernando Entertainment

We hired DJ Fernando to play our wedding and take care of all our music and lighting needs. HE IS FANTASTIC! He was, by far, our favorite vendor and also the most low-stress. We met with Fernando originally because he is the only recommended DJ by our venue, The Sawyer Room. They love him so much that he has a permanent set-up in their space and plays 80% of their weddings. It was easy to see why after just one meeting. Fernando is incredibly professional while still being someone you can relate to and you almost feel like it is a friend taking care of your wedding and not just a vendor. In our initial meeting we set some music boundaries and discussed some of the add-ons Fernando offered. We ended up renting his GOBO light, uplighting, and a spotlight for our reception. Our second, and final, meeting took place a few weeks before our wedding. We spent that time discussing options for first dances and what we wanted and did not want (i.e. I mandated no line dances....and there were none!) Fernando was a great help in areas where we were unsure and did a great job helping us put our evening in order. So here is the bottom line:Professionalism: 5 starsCommunication: 5 stars - We were never waiting for a call back or an e-mail back for long. It got to the point where we were texting back and forth and he was so incredibly helpful in trying to make our day perfect.Execution: 5 stars PERFECT! He didn't go off our Do Not Play list and kept the music true to the reflection of my hisband and I. We have absolutely no complaints or regrets about the music that night. He even threw in some dubstep :-) The party got going after the bar closed (weird, right?) and didn't stop until the lights came on. We were very happy!Lighting: 4.5 stars - A We loved our GOBO and the spotlight was perfect. The uplighting was the only thing i would have changed....and not because of anything Fernando did. I asked for white light (which he produced) but it ended up looking blue on the walls when I had wanted a softer gold tone. Oh, well!Pricing: 4.5 stars - Very fair for wedding lighting and DJ' not the cheapest but not the most expensiveI would whole-heartedly recommend DJ Fernando for anyone's wedding! If we ever need a DJ again, we know who to call!
