If you want something delicious and tasty while on the south side of Kansas City don't look no further. The District fish & pasta house is the place to go. I ordered the shrimp & chicken pasta was season perfectly nothing overwhelming. Great service from the staff love hearing the cooks singing R&B while cooking. The place is hidden but once you go in you see a lot of the KC love and art of the city.

*PICK UP ORDER REVIEW*All I'm going to say is this food was AMAZING! Like the taste, the flavor, everything. My friend gives his pasta a 8.7/10 only because they forgot his chicken at first & then overcooked it. But he loved everything else. I had the sandwich & I'm going to give it a 9/10! It was everything!!!! We ordered ahead so food was ready when we arrived. They were nice & fixed our order mistake quickly. It wasn't as busy, so it was fairly quiet in there. They do have small dining space inside .. first come basis. We will eat here again!

The basa and seafood pasta are great. The spaghetti is the best side dish in my opinion i recommend this place!

The wait times are ridiculously long but the food is so good! One of the best seafood pastas I've ever had! The consistency could improve--my mom and I ordered the same thing but hers was spicier than mine. 8/10.

This is my first time ordering. Shrimp and pasta are always at the top of my favorites list. Great experience. Excellent flavor. Healthy portion. I will order again.

The food was phenomenal and service was above and beyond. Everything came out fresh and the seasoning OmG!!! I would definitely be back & recommend to others. I just moved here from Cali & this will definitely stay on my top spots to dine in.

This place is amazing. Food is fresh and cooked to order so there's a wait. The food is worth the wait. My daughter, who lives out of town is a vegan until she comes home. This is our first stop from the airport. If she knows they will be closed when she arrives, she makes sure that her grandfather picks her up some fish. I have always had the fish and it is absolutely wonderful but today I just decided to try their chicken. The chicken is as good as the fish. Their pasta dishes look absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try one. The staff is friendly. Bonus: the walls are covered with art!

This place will not disappoint. I got the 6 pc whiting dinner and it comes with 2 sides. Their menu has a great variety of food and the wait for takeout is quick. Friendly and helpful staff.
