Dino's Diner

Stopped for lunch on the way through town. The kids had the spaghetti, and they liked it. Portions were generous. I had a burger and fries...good, but nothing to rave about.Our server was friendly. The restaurant is kind of dark. The cleanliness was below average. You could see crumbs etc under the condiment holder, like it had just been wiped around. Also, lots of flies. Spent a lot of time shooing flies away from our food--kind of put a damper on things.Will I be back, unsure. Might give it another try.

Food was good. Reasonable prices. Won't be back because it's too far away. Oh the way back from Omaha.

A big open spacious dining room. Tables were not crowded together. Our server a young man thought his name was Brett or Bryce sorry buddy was very sweet and it seemed like he was new because he seemed to get embarrassed every time he asked us a question. We ordered the ribs and the two piece chicken dinner they were fabulous. The staff is very friendly the food came out hot the prices were very reasonable. If you're ever in Cameron Missouri make sure you stop there I don't think you'll be disappointed

The food was average, not wonderful but not horrible . The service was horrible. After the waitress brought out our meal, well that's the last we saw her till she walked by and threw the bill on the table and went on. The place was dark , till a couple local people came and sat near us and the waitress went and turned the overhead light on. Will never go back to this place.

Stopped in on Thursday for lunch and this place was hopping. Filled with an older crowd, tells me good food and affordable prices. Huge variety of items on menu and breakfast all day. I had the Philly steak sandwich and opted for soup instead of fries. Service , though busy was fast and friendly. Food was just as I expected good and affordable!

This is only getting two because it wasn't the worst we've had and there were some redeeming qualities. The dinner salads were soggy not crispy. His country fried steak was underwhelming, but the gravy was good. My bourbon chicken was tasty. Then we head to the restroom. Don't go!! It was dirty. There sticky drips on the wall of my stall that I hope were cleanser and not anything else. Our waitress?? Young, inexperienced and soft spoken. Yelp got this one wrong for us.

Awful. The gravy for the biscuits were clearly poured out of a can. Bland and translucent like gelatin. The biscuits were bad. Bland and very dry. I asked for scrambled eggs I got fried. The waitress said 3 other people this morning had the same complaint.

I pass through once a year so this review is based on probably 5 times of eating there. Last Saturday I stopped after 13 hours of driving decided to have the special Ribeye with 2 sides I ordered it rare it was not chewable told the waitress and she said let's cook it a little more brought back a hockey puck had to cut it into 3/8 bites just to chew enough to swallow. It's my fault for letting that slide I should have just gotten something else.

Server had to leave shortly after dropping off our food, that's fine but no one else came to our table? We didn't get any refills or anything. Atmosphere was just unwelcoming and service wasn't great. Food was alright though.

If I could give more than zero stars, I would! Our waitress was the most awful server I have ever experience--horrible horrible customer service. Argued when I asked a question about what came with my meal. Whipped a make-up plate in front of me. Forgot to bring me my side. Forgot the salad dressing that came with my family's dinner. She rolled her eyes at every question and call-over I had after slamming her hand on the bar when I waved her over. Plus she was training a new server! When I asked to speak to a manager, she failed to deescalate. She argued with me and defended her server's behavior with, "I've never had a complaint about her before." Well too bad! She argued with me so much that someone from a different table came over, swore at me, told me to pay and leave, and encouraged the entire restaurant to applaud me and tell me to "Get the hell out or I will call the police!" Also there was mention about a sister working there, so nepotism? I asked for the name of ownership and was refused. Public humiliation in a small town restaurant--terrible look for Dino's. Zero stars, -100 experience.
