Diebel's Sportmens Gallery

This review is strictly for the Kansas City Cigar Festival. I don't even want to tell you about it, because I want it to stay a secret. But, the secret is out. There were well over 500 people there. The event took place Friday evening and Saturday. It was amazing. The food was good. Saturday, the alcohol tasting was amazing. We had A LOT of samples as did everyone. So much fun meeting people and sharing drink. The big star: cigars. I got two duffel bags full of cigars for two VIP ticks. It was amazing. We sat and smoked one after the other with fellow cigar lovers. Saturday the cigar vendors were there giving us access to rare items and extra swag. Drawings were held for some very nice items -I didn't win. This has been by far my favorite festival. I can't think of a better way to spend a September weekend. I'm so glad I discovered this. Don't change a thing. Initial ticket distribution was confusing. I never received my tickets until right before the event. I wasn't alone because all of us were in line rushing to make a Diebel's account and find our tickets. I still can't wait to go next year.

Walked by the store on a Saturday morning. Great mix of gifts, classic ambience, with attentive service. Impressive humidor.

This is the most amazing place ever with a cigar selection you can't beat and the most welcoming staff on the planet. I've been working in town for 4 weeks and after a long day this has been my go to spot. Super helpful folks who seem to love what they do and take customer service seriously. My only regret going back to FL is not having this place to take with me. Thanks for being awesome and keep up the great work!!!!

I have been coming to Diebel's for years and make it a point to stop each time I'm in KC. Comfortable lounge they will let you use With a nominal minimum purchase. They have a wonderful selection of cigars, pipes and awesome gifts.

Very neat cigar shop definitely a must if you're in the KC plaza area... Had Davidoff Cigars.. John was very knowledgeable about cigars! I told him I like Nicaragua Madora wrappers and he ended up handing me three cigars that were freaking amazing. The lounge was awesome had a great vibe with the regulars and out of towners...

This store is tremendous. Like walking into a Winston Churchill museum, its the ultimate man den! A huge huge walk in humidor selling cigars in abundance.There are flasks, and man-aprons, and plaques and guy goodies galore. definitely a must-stop shop stop for that guy who has everything.

The first time I had to go and buy my own cigars (yes I partake periodically, don't judge me), I was directed to Diebel's. I don't know what I was really expecting, but what I did walk into was definitely not what I was expecting. Diebel's is much more than a cigar and up end smoke shop as some people see to think. It is an experience into the relaxed life of a man.It offers all kinds of games and paraphernalia for the most discerning male, but I will admit where they truly shine is their amazing walk in humidor.I have yet to walk into the humidor and not have their cigar expert in there. Usually enjoying a fine smoke. Their humidor ranges from the economical (Brickhouse, Romeo Y Julieta) to the luxuriant (Davidoff, Cohiba). For the cigarette smokers, they have a very impressive array of cigarettes from all over the world as well.So fine furnishings, great smokes, knowledgeable and really friendly staff. You truly can't go wrong. It's also why I will spend a little more to shop at Diebel's than go elsewhere.

Well, my father just got back from Cuba and he brought a bunch of Cuban cigars with him! I was excited to hear that he wanted to share some of his cigar "stash" with me! I cannot smoke cigars vary often so I needed a way to store my Cubans overtime - a humidor - without them going bad; plus I needed a cigar cutter! I immediately turned to Diebel's, knowing that they have been around forever and have always heard that they provide excellent service. My recollection of their excellent service was not incorrect! The guy that helped me pointed me to a perfectly sized humidor for the amount of Cuban cigars that I am now in possession of:)! He was quite knowledgeable in the storage of cigars and how to keep them fresh; he gave me plenty of options and pointed me to one that would do the trick and is not very costly. I also got a really solid cigar cutter, which is going to come in handy in these next several months!I give Diebel's five stars because of their customer service and the knowledge about cigars and cigar storage, I would send anyone that needed help with Cigars or other tobacco related accessories straight to Diebel's. My last note, the Yelp app had saiid that Diebel's was closed on Sundays; which, I came to find out that they are most certainly open on Sundays!

The Plaza location is extremely negligent of basic customer service. Confusing pricing and just all around non welcoming attitude from staff. I have shopped for years but now have come to the realization that this really isn't a nice place. The Leawood location has a smaller inventory but the staff is night and day. Westport offers a great alternative to Diebles on the Plaza

I can't believe how I was talked to in the humidor. I will absolutely NEVER go back. Maybe it's because I am female. I get that a lot in the cigar industry, but this was absolutely an unacceptable way to treat someone. Don't go here, I've had better experiences at other local places.
