Design In the City

Went to lunch at Trezo today and did some walking afterward. Had to stop at Design in the city after finding them on Instagram. The shop dog really pulled me in. Lol Love puppies!! We were greeted when we walked in by the most lovely lady. She helped me with a shirt and even sparked up a nice conversation during my checkout. I got the cutest glasses for my basement bar and a fun tailgate shirt to wear in Vegas for the Chiefs game we are going to in January. We are season ticket holders so I will be back in for some more football accessories.Design in the city is your one-stop shop for everything from clothing, shoes, gifts, and home Deco.

Love Briarcliff village with their nice little shops. Love good design they carry.You can't go home without getting a nice beautiful thing from these stores .

While I thought the selection of clothing, shoes and other items was vast and nice, I was disappointed by the customer service. Everyone but myself was greeted nicely and was told about the current sales and such going on the store where I was not. When I had picked out a few items I asked a woman about the sales and she did not even answer my question and continued helping other customers and ended up shouting the answers to my questions from across the store. I was extremely dismayed and set down my merchandise and left.

What a great shop! I was visiting from California and found all kinds of treasures!

Design in the City is a locally owned business located in Briarcliff Village. I love the store to buy the many gifts I need throughout the year. Mindy Diaz has clothing, jewelry, purses, and al sorts of wonderful pieces for around the house. I recommend visiting the store soon.
