This place is the coolest little camera shop. Arch and his wife are both very knowledgable and provide full service repair. They also have a really great collection of used, high-quality film cameras. Highly recommended

I bought an older camera. I was sent to here by a different camera shop because I couldn't make it work. The gentleman was EXTREMELY knowledgable, and helpful. Don't let the location fool you. These people are dynamite!

Everyone says that they're great ... and they may well be ... but, after his brusque, rude, dismissive attitude toward me when I called, I can't imagine a reason to subject myself to more of the same.

I stopped by Dereninger for a problem with a new camera tripod. The service was 5-star! I got exactly what I needed in an extremely timely manner. This business is quite busy but it's worth your visit!

Excellent film camera checkup and repair at reasonable cost. Because most of the other film camera repair technicians have retired you have to be very patient and realistic to get your film camera worked on - in my case a little over 2 months for my medium format Mamiya RB-67. From an excellent technician that comes highly recommended it is well worth the wait.

I brought my little old camera in to get an expert opinion on whether or not it was worth fixing. Within a few minutes the camera had been evaluated and cleaned and is ready to go. I highly recommend Dereninger's and am most grateful to them for fixing my little heirloom.

Maybe they're really good at what they do, but I'll never know. Super rude on the phone. Hope they do better.

SO rude! I've got a camera in need of repair and was referred to them by another shop. I called to see if I could schedule a day to have it looked at and the woman literally laughed at me. She said they could not look at it for at least a few weeks. I asked if there were a schedule or wait-list I could join and again she laughed at me. It's OK to just say that you're not accepting new clients! No need to be disrespectful and unclear. Why act like you're too good to fix a camera if that's the business you're in?
