The spread was colorful and inviting of fruits, cheeses, veggies, and meats. Had the pork chops, mashed potatoes, and the green beans today. All tasty. Will visiting here again. Great customer service, friendly and helpful as well

Do not judge a book by the outside of the corner store. I promise you this is worthy of the stop! This the best catfish plate I've had since my grandma used to make it . Definitely giving big mama house vibes over here. The neighbors are friendly and it feels like home! Yes the exterior cause use an update but who cares you can't eat the walls but the way they cooking in here I'll definitely lick the plate!

Not many family owned Soul Food restaurants anymore. Not so good parking or access for street parking but the food quality and taste is good! Friendly family atmosphere! Lets support them so they can out-grow their location! And spread their gift of family style, soul and cultural trend food!

This one star was given because the food is good. When you have challenging parking and slow service that combination can create a bigger challenge. The worst is when one of your own creates and even bigger issue when they pull right up to the front door and immediately block in a patron and any other patrons coming or attempting to leave . Then tells that patron after ignoring them first to drive over the curb to get out. People catch buses with 12 packs of and a strapping thoughtless man can't park in a manner to not impede the flow of coming and going patrons is unacceptable. This one bad apple with a horrible attitude and lack of ability to communicate spoiled it for me. I realize my few dollars several times a month is no big deal but I hope during the next team meeting this is a topic of discussion. As I was waiting for my food I noticed the refrigerator case had plenty of soda and no one was dying of thirst so maybe stocking before or after the restaurant is closed could be an option. Having on of your own selfishly pull right to the door blocking all traffic flow...dealbreaker especially after having to wait a good while for food.
