This company was sent out by my home warranty company. They sent out an unprofessional tech who stole the dual cap off my unit, left the wires loose going to the contactor, which caused it to ark, and could have caused a fire to my home. In my effort to get my unit running I called another HVAC company who tried to help expedite my claim with Del's as he knew the owner.I received a nasty phone call from a woman at Dells office, telling me off and accusing me of bad mouthing their company to another HVAC company. She was so rude I couldn't get a word in edgewise and ultimately, she hung up on me. She also stated before she hung up that she would cancel my claim with my warranty company. She actually did me a favor, the new HVAC company that came out to replace my unit was very professional and courteous. Something I didn't get from De'ls.

No. Just no. I don't know what spambots wrote the other two review for this place, but they're garbage. If this was the last air conditioning repair company on the plant, I wouldn't call them. We had to use them because of our home warranty and it was a frustrating ordeal. It took several weeks and four different techs to resolve very simple issues (recharge freon and replace the line set). No one was ever on time. Our windows for service were between 8 a.m. and noon and techs would not arrive until after 2 p.m. We were not even alerted about delays. They have no respect for your time. For a company that supposedly prides itself on customer service, everyone we spoke with was unable to address any of our concerns or escalate our issues. Our air conditioning is barely working better than it was before we wasted five weeks and $300 for nothing.

The only reason i'm rating this company a 1 star is because a 1/16th of a star is not available.Extremely pissed at this company and would never recommend them to anyone. Please is you read this and received them from a home warranty company call the home warranty company and request a different service company in your area.We started out with a tech coming out to look at our Dryer for a Home warranty work on Aug 18th of 2015 and they determined it was a faulty part that they would have to order. Here is what followed.1. The tech told me that they would have to order the part because it was old (which I fully expected) and said we should have that by the end of the week, because I asked "How long will it take to get this finished" and the tech said only a couple of days.2. I called later in the week when I didn't hear anything only to find out there tech's are required to get their paperwork in by Thursday at some point. so I didn't get ordered until the end of the week.3. I called Tuesday of the next week August 25, they said it still had not come in and they would call me back when it arrived4. I called Thursday Aug 27 2015 to find out they had 7 boxes and my part might be in there they would check and call me back to let me know (Didn't receive a phone call from that date either)5. I called on the 28th and they said the part looks like it arrived and someone would call me back after they returned from lunch today and schedule that appointment to get it finished.6. I called the Home warranty company to get it hopefully resolved with their help. the only thing they did was get me in touch with someone at Del's to schedule the appointment. 7. I was told by them that they left a message on my phone and that they had called, well the odd thing about that was I only have a cell phone and I have no phone called or messages from that company today. 8. Now I find out that it's going to be another 12 day's before they can come out and fix it.This company is an absolute joke. I would not send them to my worst enemy. So far the person that scheduled be has been rude and combative. I have never received any communications that were promised to me. I am the victim here due to their either lack of skilled persons or just plain crappy work practices.

Came out to fix our Refrigerator as ice was building up on the inside of the unit. Said it needed a thermostat and replaced it for $450. Defrosted the unit and waited a couple of months and ice buildup returned so they misdiagnosed the problem. Called them and they said they could come out but there would be another service call and no credit for the incorrect first repair which was not needed. Called another repair place who confirmed the misdiagnosis and properly fixed the real issue. No, like the many other bad reviews we cannot recommend this company.

These folks are here to honestly help you out, not just toss out an appliance but problem solve and not try to sell you something new or additional like so many companies do. Great communicators and responsive professionals.

I cannot say enough good things about Del's Appliance. I called around to several places and Del's was the cheapest on the washer I was looking for by $35.00, and their delivery/setup/haul away charge is $39.00 LESS than anyone around. The woman I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and friendly both times. The delivery man was friendly and professional and more than helpful! My old washer had leaked oil/grease all over the floor underneath the washer and he proceeded to get on his hands and knees and clean it up for me! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Del's Appliance and will absolutely use them again!

Have you ever wondered what it might like to have the Three Stooges repair your appliances? Well, if you hire Del's Appliance Heating & Cooling on Hickman Mills Dr. in Kansas City, you can find out for yourself! Here's what happened to me: In late June after moving into a house I bought in the Gladstone are of KC, I called the home owner insurance company I got with the house to get the ice maker in my refrigerator fixed, and they assigned the work to Del's. I also called in a lighting fixture that had quit working, which I was pretty sure was wiring, and that got assigned to them as well. Their repair people came out on both separate jobs, and both times it was decided that it was the hardware. The icemaker was covered, the lighting fixture was not, so they were supposed to order the icemaker and let me know when it was in.When I had not heard from them in 3 weeks, I called them to see what was going on. I was told that the person that orders parts was not in, and that I needed to call back. I thought that was a little weird that they could not look all this up on a job number, but I called back the next day. Once again I couldn't talk to the parts person, but asked them to look up the job number, which I had, and they asked me if I remembered who had come to my house. I told them that no, I had not written down the name of their service people, but wondered why they didn't have that information themselves. Once again, the person I spoke to was not able to look anything up, but assured me that I would get a call back "by end of day". Two days later after hearing nothing, I called them again. Again, they can't look it up, but will call me back by end of day. Again, no call back. So I called and asked for the name of the manager (Francie), who was out. The woman who I was talking to (Teresa) wanted to give her a message for me, but since this is the same person that didn't call me "by end of day", I said that I would just call back. I called back the next day, Francie is still unavailable. I left a message with my name and job number and the date of the original service call for Francie, and that I needed an immediate call. After no call that day, I called back the next day and told them I would hold until I talked to her. I still didn't get her, but I left a pretty irate and detailed message for her. I did get a call back from her, and then I gave her an earful. She said she would call me "by end of day", and this time I did get a call at 2:30 that day. She was nice and basically said that she had no idea why, but the part had never been ordered and she was going to have someone come out to install it the following Wednesday (this was on a Friday). So Wednesday shows up, as does the Del's Repairman, who comes in the door saying "so what seems to be the problem with your icemaker?". Incredulously, he had no idea that he was supposed to be bringing the part. I told him to call his office immediately, and they said that they would come out on Friday. I had work I had to leave by noon for, and told them that they had to be down well before that. I was assured that I would be the first job of the morning. At 11:35am on Friday, I got a call from their repair person that he was due to arrive at 11:55am. I told him how utterly unacceptable this was, but stayed an extra 15 minutes for him to get there and install the icemaker. He assured me that I would have ice in 4-5 hours, and we both left. This was at the start of August, about a month and a half from when they first came to my house. I came home and you guessed it - no ice. I called the home insurance company to get them out here again. I also hired an electrician on my own to look at both the fixture that I thought was totally worth fixing as well as something else. He found that the fixture was - as I originally thought - had NOTHING wrong with it, but there was loose wiring in the wall connecting to it. Another stellar troubleshooting job by Del's, and so far, two $75 deductibles that have gotten me NOTHING but wasted time on my part. Francie the manager calls me in a few days and apologizes and makes an attempt to get the owner on the phone with me, but he had a more important call that he was on. Whatever, she sets up a time for the repair call.So the Del's person comes out and tells me that there was a metal arm that was on the old icemaker that should have been re-attached to the new one and wasn't, and after that gets installed there will be no problem and it will work great - but he doesn't have the part on him. He comes out 3-4 days later with the part and installs it and assures me this is it. 4-5 hours later, no ice. I call the home insurance again, telling them that I want to talk to Del's, and that I will not be talking to Del's again. Then I get a call from Teresa, to set up another repair call, for the next Monday. Then later in the week she calls back again with one of their techs - or possibly the owner - yelling at her with stuff

My furnace stopped working while it was below freezing and snowy outside, it was also 3:00pm. I called Del's and Shane, the technician, was here within 45 minutes. He located the problem, checked the furnace thoroughly and even made a trip for a part within 20 minutes of the manufacturer's closing time. By 5:00pm my furnace was fixed! Shane did a great job and i would definitely call Del's again.
