Daylight Donuts - Olathe

I've been picking up apple fritters for my father in law for a couple of weeks. He's homebound following a stroke and they bring him a little joy. I'm not from the area so I use Google maps to find donut shops. It will lead me to a different donut shop in Olathe each time. That said, I've sampled a few.Daylight donut has excellent quality. They aren't the biggest, but they're certainly the best. The last time I was in, the person working popped a few donut holes in my bag for free. I ate a few as I was driving away. They were so airy and flavorful. It took all of my willpower not to polish them off before I got back to the house. Now when I map it, I'll put in Daylight donuts.

I enjoyed the good selection of donuts, the reasonable prices and the polite service at this new location during my takeout visit.The plain cake donut ($1.19) was fresh and delicious. I noticed a clean dining area with three tables.They offer breakfast sandwiches, a good variety of donuts with six filling options, bottled beverages and coffee.Nice!

Love this place! Best donuts and kolaches! What an underrated business. Well recommend to our friends. Love the long johns!

This franchise does not have the same donuts. While most of the donuts appear very similar, the taste is not. The glazed are larger and taste more like generic glazed you find anywhere, the pine cone is way off, icings are VERY different, just to name a few. If you simply want a good donut, you will be fine going here. Although, if you want a true Daylight Donut stick to southwest Olathe and Lenexa locations.
