Darna Mediterranean

We live close by and saw this new business. Stopped in to try. What a great idea because the food was delicious!! The staff was very friendly. We will be coming back!!

I enjoyed the welcoming, hospitable service from the gracious owner, the reasonable prices and the generous portions during my opening week dine-in lunch visit.The shawarma platter ($11.99) included choice of soup or a side salad, a side of hummus, a bottomless basket of pita bread and good portions of moist, white chicken and moist, flavorful rice. The sides were served with a smile five minutes after I ordered at the table, while the entrée was served 25 minutes later. Everything was very good. I especially liked the tasty hummus.I found the dining area to be clean and comfortable with Mediterranean background music and plenty of natural light. I also noticed a private dining area with room for six.The menu included appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts and meals for the kiddos with many vegan and vegetarian options. There was a 4% credit card surcharge.Overall, very nice!

Great food, great service, clean and new restaurant! Chicken schwarma platter was great, lentil soup is tasty, and the star of the show was the kibbeh!!! Oh and I cannot say enough how much I love their "cucumber sauce," a.k.a. tzatziki. Will add more after we have it again.

The food was sooo good! They've only been open about 2 weeks, so I anticipate them to just keep improving.

The food was fantastic! We tried three appetizers. Hummus, stuffed grape leaves and falafel. All weee perfect! Will be making this a regular stop!

New Mediterranean spot in south Olathe? Finally! This cute family restaurant is right across from Chisholm Trail in a small strip. Lentil soup and veggie sandwich were both delicious and well-priced. Can't wait for this place to be discovered!

The food was delicious!! They were soo friendly and the service was spectacular! Ordered a chicken gyro sandwich with a salad and hummus. Each item was wonderful! Will definitely be back!

Amazing Mediterranean food made fresh. The shawarma had large pieces of lamb, a slight smoky flavor with a hint of cinnamon. Save room for an excellent baklava for dessert and you will not be disappointed. The staff was kind and provided exceptional service. This is not a fast food establishment so sit down and enjoy.

I'm so happy to have this great new restaurant close to home! Everything we tried was delicious. Baba ganoush (and warm pita), Greek salad, Darna salad, lamb kabob, gyro plate and chicken curry were all equally good. There are many more items on the menu I will be back to try. The woman (owner?) running the front of the house was so sweet and gracious. It is not a large dining room, but they appear to be doing a good takeout business too. Prices were quite reasonable. Please give them a try and help this small business succeed!
