They really don't have their act together. Judy, one of the studio owners, is a sweet lady. The dance instructors, however, aren't so great. My daughter took a combo class when she was three and the instructor was terrible with the girls. They spent more time playing duck duck goose than dancing. We changed studios and it was like night and day. My daughter loves her classes and she is actually learning something.

My daughter will never go back to The Dance Factory. I want her to grow into a talented dancer that can at least make it onto her high school dance squad if that is what she wanted. She would not get that from The Dance Factory. Sitting through the recital at the end of the year was 2 hours of torture. The most talented dancers there were even hard to watch. I was uncomfortable the whole time. My daughter is still young and won't know the difference. She enjoyed herself and had fun so if you want to pay money for you kid to get a self esteem boost, that is fine. if you want them to get a self esteem boost and actually learn something, send your kids elsewhere. The other mothers are giving great reviews because they don't know any different. Their kids may have grown and become better dancers, but they don't know how good they could really be. These reviews are only here because the owner of the studio sent an email asking us to review it. There is a reason why only 2 people other than me ended up actually putting a review here.
