I've been working with Dana in the last trimester of my pregnancy. She is knowledgeable, gentle and professional. I feel more prepared for childbirth and it helps with my minor pregnancy discomforts. Any questions I have about poses to help with pregnancy concerns, she is able to assist. Her approach to yoga is very hands-on, which I love! Since she is helping me to get into the positions as well as possible, I feel it is much more productive and still very relaxing.

In January 2013 I attended a trial Yoga class given by Dana and I was immediately impressed by her in-depth knowledge, drive and focus instructing the large, diverse class, many of which were trying Yoga for the first time. My wife and I signed up for Dana's first Intro to Yoga Class at the Sylvester Powell Community Center in Mission, KS and have been attending ever since. Dana has since started a Level 1 Class for the more experienced students and I find both classes the highlights of my week. Her attention to subtle details to the poses and to individual challenges the students are experiencing, both mental and physical, create a positive environment for learning Yoga correctly for a lifetime of enjoyment. Dana also promotes Yoga through her Facebook page and keeps students informed of local Yoga workshops which she regularly attends. I recommend Dana's classes to anyone interested in learning or expanding their practice of Iyengar-based Yoga and is willing to invest their time and effort to achieve their goals.

I had previously attended other yoga classes but Dana's classes are better than any other yoga classes I have attended. She really takes the time to go over how to properly do each pose and why you do it a certain way. The class uses a lot of props, so matter what your level of flexibility or mobility you are still able to do everything. I have been attending Dana's classes for over a year and have really seen improvement. I would highly recommend her classes to anyone who wants to learn more about yoga, as Dana will take the time to teach you.

Dana's prenatal yoga class has been a great discovery! Yoga helps integrate mind and body during a time of great physical and emotional challenge and change. Dana has a passion for Iyengar yoga. She uses props to assist in allowing the body to get the most out of the poses (with support). She is awesome. I was plus-sized prior to becoming pregnant and I have really appreciated Dana's ability to use modifications and props to help me get the most out of the practice. I have also learned a lot of tips for dealing with the physical discomforts that can be a part of pregnancy. I would highly recommend this class and this instructor!
