Dainty Cakes

I am based in California and wanted to gift my aunt (who lives in Missouri) a yummy birthday treat. I found Dainty Cakes through Yelp and was pleased to learn that it is a Black owned business. I called the owner, Rachel, and left a voicemail. She promptly returned my call and I placed an order for next day delivery. I decided to order a dozen of the Strawberry Shortcake flavor. Ordering and paying was a breeze, and I thought both the cost of the cupcakes and the delivery fee were reasonable. Rachel delivered the cupcakes on time and was very communicative. Icing on the cake: my aunt said they were delicious! I will definitely order with Dainty Cakes again for future birthdays and highly recommend this business!

I recently ordered cupcakes for my son's birthday with a groupon I had. Prior to ordering, I had a few questions and Rachel answered my email pretty quickly. I ended up ordering four dozen of four different flavors - Banana Cream Pie, Lemon, Peach Cobbler and Red Velvet. I ordered them online and was a little concerned when I had not heard from her by Thursday (needed them for Saturday) so I called and emailed. She contacted me that evening to set up a delivery time. She called to see if I was home before she stopped by (she came an hour earlier than I was expecting, which was fine since I was home) and delivered the cupcakes. They were all nicely packaged and delicious! I only tried three of the four flavors, with the Banana being my favorite by far. Many of our guests enjoyed them immensely. The biggest fan was my two-year-old who we had to stop after he ate his fourth cupcake. I think he would have eaten them all given the chance!Will definitely contact Dainty Cakes again if I need cupcakes for another occasion!

These are fantastic cupcakes! Delicious, beautiful and exactly what we requested. Communication was great, delivery was on time and easy to arrange with the very accommodating wonderful owner! They will not disappoint.

I ordered two dozen cupcakes for my daughter's birthday, and I will definitely be doing it again next year - although, I will have to order more next time because they were eaten so quickly. The strawberry cupcakes were delicious. It was also really nice to be able to have them delivered. I paid a small charge because I don't live near Lee's Summit, but I didn't mind since it was so convenient.
