We had a great time at Dagg Park! Enjoyed the spray ground even though not all features were working. But their Facebook page did forewarn that issue. I enjoyed that the playground areas were on turf so the kids could go back and forth from the playground to the splash pad. There are covered shelters and seated benches. Would recommend bringing a chair or blanket just in case they are full. We were there right as it opened, so no issues. Another feature we liked is that the park is fenced in. Also, nice bathrooms!

Summer is here and the new playground and splash park are open! The crowds are a testament to how much our community needed this. I have taken my kids and they had more fun at this one than at any of the other ones in the city. Thank you NKC!

Adorable little park! My friend and I had lunch at a picnic table here this past weekend. It was completely empty on a gorgeous day! No idea why no families were here as it looked to have some good playground equipment. Nice little park with tons of parking and completely free of others if you want to dominate on the monkey bars.

I don't know how many times I've driven past dagg Park and failed to take my children here until now I should be ashamed. Riding a heart of North Kansas City and down the street from Macken Park is this cool park with wet entertainment that all children can enjoy doing the hot summer months and Kansas City. They also have dry entertainment like slides climbing apparatus and swings but the Highlight is the water portion of the park. It is a pet free and alcohol-free Park. It's very clean and well-kept it is a gym in North Kansas City!

Great but small park. There's a nice slash pad perfect for kids upto about 10. There's a covered area with picnic benches that is often reserved for parties. A very nice playground area, including a rope climb web to a slide. The playground seems best suited for 4-12 years. Plenty of grass to lay out blankets or chairs under a nice big shade tree. You can set up and watch kids both at playground and on play set.

Amazing water park for the kids to run through the sprinklers on a hot day. The park is totally design for the 10 and under crowd. You have climbing cargo nets, multiple swings and a huge tube slide. There is a large oak tree (?) that can provide some shade during the hot sunny days. Picnic tables and canopy are available for your family lunch.

This is a great place to bring your kids! The park is right off of Armour Road in downtown North Kansas City. It is very easy to find. There is either street parking, or you can park in the library's parking lot across the street. There is a large playground, a couple fountains for playing in with seating around them, a couple of picnic areas, public restrooms, and best of all a wading pool for little kids! The wading pool goes from just a few inches deep to 1 1/2 feet deep. It is pretty large, so even when there are a lot of people, there is plenty of room. The pool has a couple of fountains within it, as well as some nice tiled sea animals to break up the white of the pool bottom. There are a few benches around, and lots of shade. Two lifeguards are on duty, so things stay relatively calm and safe. The only downside to the wading pool is you have to be under 48" to be able to get in. (Parents are welcome to get in the pool, though.) They do this to keep the little kids safe. I definitely like that aspect, but I saw multiple families look bewildered as they had one or two little kids who could go in, but a big kid who wasn't allowed in. The rest of the park is for people of any size! The wading pool can get a little rambunctious, but not terrible. Be warned that if you bring toys, expect to share them with everyone! Kids are kids, and of course they want to play with everyone else's toys. People are very polite, for the most part, about making sure your toys get returned. This is a perfect way to safely cool off with your little folks, and to wear them out for a good night's sleep!
